Hi (Furry)furriends💗
We had a busy week…
because there was a lot to harvest…
and a lot to be
🙏T H A N K F U L F O R🙏
all the apples…
from our little appletree…
that weren’t burnt by the heatwave-sun…
so Granny was able to make…
two…
A…
Apple Pies…
and one Apple-Pear-Dates-crumble pie…
the orange passion fruit…
that we haven’t eaten because they taste so… so…
disgusting…
the grape…
vines…
and the one and only baby melon…
*not that one Granny that’s the one of last year*
and my furresh nip…
after harvesting
Granny had to mow one of my lawns…
which she did with great pleasure…
and I was waiting safely behind the window
in the house…
until she was ready…
so I could walk on
to check if she had done a great job…
and I checked every centimetre…
measured
every blade of grass…
smellt the furresh air of the grass..
felt the earth between it…
while letting the sunshine
down on me…
watched if I was still in the picture…
and approved it loud and clear…
now I only have to be waiting
until my dinner is served…
so I also have something to be

Oh my goodness!!! Such a bounty of fruits Binky! Ma’s mouth is waterin’ overs those delish lookin’ pies! I likes the melon! yummers! I thinks she did a FABulous job on your lawn! And I am super jealous you gets to roach and roll and gets it all in your furs! Yes, I thinks you have lots and lots to be thankful for….especially a full bowl !

Love how you framed your musical choices around the harvest! I don’t know how I’ve never heard The Cat In the Window but I love it, and Little Green Apples is a favorite of mine. Never heard this version, I only knew the one by Roger Miller.

A lot to be grateful for, from sunny apple pies, to a lot of videos here that introduced me to new songs. I really enjoyed Al Stewart’s Fruit Song and Willie Nelson singing about the world going to pot. Also some old favorites like Don’t let the Sun Go Down on Me. In my country (The United States) there is a Sunday morning show which features sun artwork before every commercial break. They’ve been doing it for years. That apple pie would have been purrrfect for that show.

What great harvest you had and what Granny made – super. Apparently only some passion fruits are edible… yours probably wasn’t…. The lawn looks so beautifully green! You all have been busy working and you obviously with checking everything!
