we have to do the laundry…
…again…
so get out of that basket…
we don’t have time to play now…
we purromised Granny
to help her…
so that’s what we do…
she can pimp up the garden
in the meantime…
because all the rain let grow
all the weeds like crazy…
so let’s sort the wash first…
before we can do it in the washing machine…
and don’t get distracted by Grandpaw…
he’s not allowed to stick his nose into our business…
at least not now yet…
better do something useful
and turn on the washing machine for us

allthough
nose kissies are never waisted
are they…
you can wait now
until the washing machine is finished…
you can flatten the towels…
also
in the meantime…
and how about to tell our furriends
what we are
T H A N K F U L
for today…
well…
first of course that our stove didn’t burn down…
…or even worse…🙀
when the parchment baking papurr caught fire…
and for our twofeet sister
who helped Granny to exstinguish the fire…
it was the second time
after years
that this effurr happened…
and only in this stove🙈
so Granny said
that she will never use that stoopid papurr again…
it was only 125°C in the oven
to heat up some taco shelves
so whatever happened in there
is a complete mystery…
maybe the taco’s had a swing
in that thing…Olé😹
Besides that Granny is
T H A N K F U L
for us doing all her that work
she also is
T H A N K F U L
that the roses
all came back…
they were all gone with the wind…
but they made a big come back here…
…see…
I’ve already hung up the laundry Peachy…
so you better come outside now…
to see who’s hanging in there too…

Glad the fire is out and didn’t do too much harm. Granny needs to be careful with this strange paper.

Mrs H says I should help way more with the laundry. Me thinks I’m too old to do that, and I’m the boss around here, so I think I’ll supervise only. Having said that, I do approve of doing the flattening of fresh towels and duvet covers. A very happy anniversary to you all! The web is such a better place for seeing you all.

Oh you boys are excellent helpers around the house and in the yard too! Sorting the laundry is a big help to Granny for sure. Also “ironing” it by lying on top of it is quite helpful. Sorry about the parchment paper thing – Mom uses it once in a while but not often but she says she’s always thought it was just a little weird that you could put paper in the oven and it didn’t catch fire! As for your photos – they are all wonderful – we love them AND your poem for the photo we shared from Angel Sammy……your poem is perfectly perfect. Congratulations on 12 years of blogging – it’s been wonderful knowing you so long through good and bad happy and sad. Friends are ALWAYS friends.

OMGoodness, kitty-frens. That fire story was scary (and familiar). We are so grateful that it had a happy ending. Mom had a little piece of parchment in the air fryer once and thought she smelled toasted marshmallows. NO! It was toasted parchment! Yikes. It was scary, but also a happy ending. Congratulations on your blogiversary! Yay!

Happy Blogging Anniversary! I am so glad your stove didn’t catch on fire! I accidentally caught MY oven on fire a few weeks ago. I forgot I had a plastic container in it and I was about to heat lasagna and BOOM! I burned the entire oven. I knew not to open the oven door and had to wait for it to burn out and then I called the fire dept. I ended up having to buy a new oven. I am glad you are all safe!! Love the roses!
