Hi (Furry)furriends💗

Peachy
it’s getting dark

so we have to get inside
when the lights are on…

but in the early mornings and evenings
there’s so much more fun…

because you see all the night creatures
that you actually not see during daytime…

like this flying object…
Granny says it’s a Hummingbird Hawk Moth…
and that we have to leave her alone…

…as if we could would catch her…🙄
she’s much to fast for us…
Granny says that she also brings a message
from heaven
as she is in our garden since a few days…

…same time same place…

…right Hawkie…

Peachy…
you’re looking into the wrong direction…

she’s up there…

and hasn’t fell down…

in the jungle…

I know you want to be prepurred
just in case…

But you have to come out there now…

the Moon shines through the sky…

and there comes the Pawty Pooper…

like she turned on the lights on purrpose
just to get us in early…

I can see that, Stippie…
but we have something to do first…
…here in the darkness…

we have to put on our mewsic
for our furriends
with this week’s Theme:
Songs that relate
to the night or darkness
or
to daytime or goodness

…well…
how about darkness, Stippie…

that matches, huh…😺
The Sound of Silence – Simon & Garfunkel (1964)
Nightporter – Japan (1980)
Called out in de Dark – Snow Patrol (2011)
Dark is the Night for all – A-Ha (1993)
Out of the Dark – Falco (1998)
Eyes that See in the Dark – Kenny Rogers (1983)
✨✨✨
“The dark does not destroy the light;
it defines it.
It’s our fear of the dark
that casts our joy into the shadows.”

Aww, those sweet kitties are so inquisitive. Excellent music and I love the quote at the end. 😻
Oct 19, 2023 @ 15:26:03
Love your sweet pussy cats. That moth is huge but look at its, what’s it called…oral depositer, maybe I just made up a new word but it’s tongue is long to get to the nectar. I agree with your grandmother, an angel is by your side and in the garden. Love the tunes!
Oct 19, 2023 @ 09:44:44
Just enjoy

Wow, those hummer-moths are humongous!! We saw one here earlier this summer, but the camera was hiding in the pocket and *she* was a lot slower than the moth, LOL!
Those moth pics would be spooky ones for Halloween, if you ‘celebrate’ that.
Not much in the way of bugs of any kind here these days, except for stink bugs if the sun comes out to warm them up. YUCK!
But the moles underground are feasting on who knows what and we hunt them out so they don’t make those holes and mounds…but…um…. that work for *her* benefit makes *her* mad, there is no gratitude for our hard work! BOL!

It’s getting dark earlier and earlier – less time for you guys to play outside 😦
Oct 19, 2023 @ 02:20:05
That looks like one really big moth, Peachy and Stippie. Granny is right, though, about not playing with or harming it!
Great playlist, by the way. Granny always chooses the best songs!
XO

Nighttime critters are interesting!
Oct 19, 2023 @ 00:22:28
Great choices on the music, especially Sound of Silence. One of my all time favorites. XO
Oct 18, 2023 @ 22:45:16
That was some big moth you saw! Good eyes!
Oct 18, 2023 @ 22:41:33
It was especially nice of your Angels to send you that big moth as a sign of love.
Oct 18, 2023 @ 22:27:25
I have very poor vision in the dark so I try not to go out in it. My favorite was Sounds of Silence, the only song I had heard before (BTW, it will not play in the United States but I’ve loved that song ever since it came out.) Alana ramblinwitham
Oct 18, 2023 @ 21:54:24
Love seeing you two out there, having fun!
Oct 18, 2023 @ 20:39:08
You are brave kitties. Mom and I do NOT like the night at all. We avoid the dark both inside and outside when we can. My leash lights up at night, and Mom also carries a flashlight when we have to walk in the dark. Our house has so many nightlights, Mom says it looks like Las Vegas in there all night.
Love and licks,
Cupcake

WOW sweeties, Mothra looks pretty amazing but paws off if a good idea. Those were really good tunes too!
Oct 18, 2023 @ 16:31:54
Charlee: “If moths don’t want to be chased by cats, they shouldn’t flit around like that.”
Oona: “Word.”
Chaplin: “Our Dada has a night song for you! Here it is!”
Oct 18, 2023 @ 17:05:47
Great song guys. Thank you😸🐾😽💞
Oct 18, 2023 @ 16:07:16
You two are so precious and so is your Granny.
I love you playlist. I always do.
The quote at the bottom of your post is spot on.
Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. Double Pawkisses to you both and a big hug to Granny. ♥
Oct 18, 2023 @ 15:58:27
I love those hummingbird moths-too bad they move away so quickly. I just want to sniff them and say hi.
Your fur-iend,
Elsa 🐾

You two DO need to go inside with Granny and remember her words…don’t trouble the hummingbird moth. Those are rare to see, boys. Tell your Granny I made a terrible typo last time I was here, and there was no way to delete it or correct it, so I am going to forever be much better at catching mis-types–or Siri predictive spellings and I am sorry for the typo. It was a bad one.
Oct 18, 2023 @ 15:45:45
It happens to us all the time, Katie, so don’t worry, we corrected it, but girl did we MOL, as we haven’t seen it in the first place…MOL…Double Pawkiss for the both of you🐾😽💞
Oct 18, 2023 @ 15:56:34
Here’s hugs and smoochies for your Grannie and thank yous.
Oct 18, 2023 @ 11:03:19
The sound if silence nada mama feel so good. She and papa are recovering and thank you for healing music. So sorry not to. Visit more right now….
Oct 18, 2023 @ 15:48:32
Sweetie, tell your mama to take it easy, first things first, we’re still be here when they on the mend. Purromise. Healing Pawkisses for your mama and papa too🐾😽💞
Oct 18, 2023 @ 10:46:45
It’s best that you two come in at night – it’s cozy inside…..the night critters are in charge of nighttime and you two are in charge when it’s light! That hummingbird moth is amazing – a visitor to let you know things are alright in the heavens and on earth. Your garden still looks beautiful by the way. Gardens here are gone for the year as it’s cold now. Sending you HAPPY DAYS and hugs.
Love, Teddy and Mom Pam
