I can smell it, Peachy…
it has already got me…
but I can deepen it
from here…
and I can hold it with my paws…
and than let it go…
for a more fun diffused
and fragrant experience…

there comes a real deepening…
when I slap it even more…
I have nothing to say anymore…
I only wanna smell…
and see…
what more I can do with it…

but because Grandpaw pruned it to short…
…it didn’t came back this year…
but we still remember the smell
…very well…
and we’re very grateful
that we still had pictures of it…
Granny is very

for the white feather
that flew towards her
when she was near Angel’s Place…
while she was walking in the garden
with us…
she had a smile from ear to ear
and feels so blessed
effurry time this happens…

that she took time to learn
a little bit more of Photoshop Elements…
she found a video with step-by-step instructions
to put pictures together
for our new avatar…
it took two days to create something…
but when she pasted it in the avatar circle
it didn’t came out as we wanted…
…sigh…
but at least she has a new idea
for a new creation…💡
but she needs a little courage
after the disappointment
…to start all over again…

in August and September
Granny walks through the garden
and tries to remember
that in these months of the year
there will live a lot of spiders here
they weave their web
when she is still in bed
and when she gets up
in the morning
they show her right away
without a forewarning
how big the web can be
as if she was the enemie
when she tries to take the sticky
and gossamer lace
right of her face.”
now we only have to make our artwork

I have PSE, of an older version, but I much prefer to use Gimp which I is how I make the memorial images for the Angels in Blogville.
(Gimp is free, check it out, its somehow easier to use than PSE…though perhaps having fewer ‘perks’…)

My Mommy loves Lavender too, boys. She wishes she had some here for us. It is one of her favorite scents. I’m happy you two love it as well. You are so adorable and lovable looking. Boys, your good thoughts are working for me. I am eating better for now and very happy with my days. Mom thinks she is taking me to a new Vet tomorrow. We will see about that!

Your scented selfies area delight. Lavender is one of our fav’s, but it’s not too keen on pruning, and seems so short lived. But what a delight it brings, for all manner of things. Till next year, when it blooms once more, may you savour the sweet memories.

Mummy says lavender always has a furry nostalgic feel about it – though She’s not quite sure WHAT it is that it makes her remember (MOL)!

Hi Boys! What a great post….lots of photos – my Mom LOVES the scent of lavender but we don’t have any growing anywhere – just some small “pillows” filled with it. You guys did a GREAT poem for the photo this week of the beautiful spider’s web. They are wonderful artists aren’t they! Thank you again for the wonderful photo we used for Teaser – it was PERFECT and fooled lots of peeps!!!
