Thankful Thursday

Hi (Furry)furriends😻

We helped Granny in the garden

…yesterday…

it was beautiful weather

…still cold…

but the sun was out…

so she could finally plant some bulbs

…around 180 or more🙈

that she got from her furriend

so we were outside until the sun had set…

…around two o’clock in the afternoon…🕑

Stippie made a few big rounds

in the garden…

…singing along the way…

and to tell Granny

that she had to hurry…

because the sun was gone already

…halfway…

and then it would get

much colder…

and then he heard

one of the neighbor’s dogs barking…

and Granny said

that we don’t have to be afraid

because it’s just the neighbor’s dog…

so Stippie continued his marching

walk…

and told Granny

that some pots were broken

because of the furreeze and snow…

in the meantime

the neighbor’s dog continued

to bark so loud…

that Stippie ran to get inside asop

…he was so not amused

about the disturbance on his walk….

and said

that the sun was going under

anyway…

…not at all…

I found a little more sun…

so I also stayed a little bit longer

in the garden

…until Granny was ready…

…just in time

before the rain set in…

…then we both went inside too…

and today…well…

it rains wet snow…

…Aargh…

So we are very

T H A N K F U L

that we had at least

a beautiful day

…yesterday…

to help Granny

planting the bulbs

🌷🪻🌷

and Granny is

T H A N K F U L

for that too…

and now that it is raining wet snow

…again…

let’s do our poem for our furriends

Angel Sammy and Teddy

…on this picture…

“Now

you better listen to me

because that’s all what I see

you and me

and not just a baby

I’m in charge here

but you don’t have to fear

I just want to make that clear

and now that you know

you can turn around real slow

because talking to the mirror

is a no go

but on the other hand

it can also be

your best furriend.”

😺Have a Happy Thursday my furriends😺

Chaplin: “That looks like a great time you boys had helping Granny outside, even if there was an annoying barking dog next door.”
Charlee: “Are you our neighbors by any chance? Because it sounds like you’re describing Bean …”
Java Bean: “No sé de qué estás hablando.”

This time of year, you have to grab those sunbeams when you can – barking doggies or not. Looks like it was a fun day of helping.

    Love and licks,

Dogs bark but when they bark for a long time it does make you crazy! My Mom says she’s glad cats don’t bark. HAHA Looks like a nice day for planting bulbs – should be BEAUTIFUL when they come up this Spring……….meanwhile, you can write a PERFECT poem for Angel Sammy’s Poetry Day! You did a great job – that “mirror lecture” was fun to read……..Tee Hee

    Love, Teddy

Barking dogs get on my nerves, kitties…

The Hubby says barking dogs are good, since they will chase away bad people.

    Guess I’m a bad people! hahaha…

Tell Granny that my mom LOVED the poem best of any!! That was a really good one. It fit that picture beautifully.

Boys, I would not like being out there with a barking dog either! You are very brave listening to your Granny and staying to have a good day with her, helping her with the bulbs!!

I am glad both of you and Granny were able to spend time in the garden. Well done Peachy on finding that last bit of sun.

That was a good poem for the picture.
