they said it’s going to be
a sunshiny day…
but when I was in the garden
I couldn’t see any sun…
and besides…
it was almost furreezing…
so I asked Peachy
to call me when the sun is out…
which he doesn’t find a purroblem…
he likes to see the species coming alive…
and the flowers and grass growing…
and in between he takes a nap or two…
…hundred…
and when the sun is out…
he lets me know immediately…
so I just wait here
for that call…
…which is right now…

I don’t have someone letting me know it’s a perfect day to be outside – I just KNOW it and ask Mom nicely to let me out. Yesterday for instance was PERFECT and sunny and I spent two hours (with my Dad watching me) having a snooze in the azaleas and enjoying some sun. Spring really is JUST ABOUT here!!!
