when we came from the vet
…last wednesday…
effurrything looked hopeful
and purromising…
Stippie ate
and drank a little…
and wasn’t in pain
…anymore…
but the next day
when I checked on Stippie
…in the evening…
…he wasn’t the same anymore…
he created a distance
between us…
and I knew that he was ready
to leave our planet…
it was a very long night
and when Granny finally got to bed
…overwhelmed with emotions…
she woke up at 05:15
and looked at Stippie…
he was very quiet and stared into nothing…
and made little noises…
then Granny touched and petted him
and wished she could hold him
in her arms
…for one more time…
and he crawled over to her
with his little head
and purred very quietly…
then she saw him take his last breath
…at 06:30 am…
…and then she broke down into pieces…
Goodbye my beloved brother
my best furriend and playmate…
Granny and Grandpaw’s little Purrince…
we’re going to miss you sweetheart
…so very much…

and lessons…
thank you for all the messages from Angel Binky
which you showed us from the beginning
that you came here with us…

I just learned about Stippie, and I am so sorry. I’ve been busy since our move and haven’t been reading blogs as much lately, but for some reason, I hadn’t seen any of your posts until today. I am glad he could spend the life he had in a loving home.

Oh my gosh I am so very sorry to hear that you lost your sweet, Stippie. We had something similar happen to our Angel kitty, Captain Cuddles. They said it was Saddle Thrombosis. We opted to euthanize him. I’m so sad to hear this news about Stippie and know that you all loved him very much. Sending hugs to everyone. Cherish his sweet memories.

I just commented on today’s post and don’t know how I didn’t see this. I am just hurting so bad for you I can’t stand it. Was it a blood clot in Stippie’s leg? I wrote a very long comment on today’s post so I won’t ramble on here, but my heart is just broken for all of you. I just can’t believe this is real. Please, please if you need anything, please message me or something. I am so deeply, deeply sorry. Stippie will be greatly missed. Please give Peachy extra kisses from me too. I’m soooooooo sorry. Oh no!!!! I just saw this. I’m so sorry!!!! I know how awful you feel. One of my sweet boys passed when he was young. He was only two years old. It was all unexpected and happened quickly. That was 6 years ago, and I still miss him terribly. The vet felt it was something he had been exposed to when he was a stray rummaging in dumpsters for food. I only had him for 11 months after he was rescued. My heart goes out to you!!! Sending you a big hug!! 💔🐾

The pain you experience after the loss of a loved one is equal to the love you had for them. The more you love, the worse the pain. Losing a pet can be worse than losing a child or parent. Pets are your constant. They are always home with you, they greet you, they are the door, they depend on you. When they are gone it is devastating. We hope you can come through your grief soon

Oh we are so sorry ! When you wrote yesterday that there was hope he could recover, I prayed for that to be true. But I was afraid it sounded like what happened to my little girl “Tuxie” a few years ago. I wish it could have been different for both of them and know Peachy and Granny and Grandpa will miss Stippie terribly. But we know that Angel and Little Binky met him as he came over, and all the others who went before and he left knowing such tremendous love.

No……no……we can’t say goodbye to beautiful Stippie…..he was supposed to be here with his little brother forever and a day. Our hearts are broken but we know yours are broken even MORE. I’m sure he tried very very hard to stay but something was very wrong and it couldn’t be fixed so he joined Angel and many more in the “beautiful place”. They wait for us to join them some day but in the meantime our hearts hurt. I would really love to give you a very big hug……so please imagine I am. We will remember him forever and ever.
