Hi (Furry)furriends😻

Hey Granny
come and join us…
and let’s tell our furriends
where we’re
T H A N K F U L
for today…

…this Hummingbird Moth…
we know we know
he’s so fast that he’s hard to catch
for a photo…
but after staying with us
for a whole week…
…well…
Faye caught him…🙀

…shame on you Faye…
…not to long…
because Granny was able to remove him
from your mouth
…unharmed…🎉
and the moth came back
the same evening
sucking the nectar of the last Vervain…

and he hang in there
for a few days…
because we had a lot of wind
and rain…

and we’re
T H A N K F U L
for our Hotlips Sage…
after pruning it a little
she came back with
50 shades of red…

and all kind of different faces…

sorry for the blurriness…

but these are not only
hotlips
as you can see…💋

and this came up between the strawberries…
…one paprika flower
but wrong timing…

we’re also
T H A N K F U L
for the few tomatoes
that are delicious…
but such a pity
that we only got a few this year…

and what do you say about this…
isn’t that the sweetest thing…

what?
you can’t see him…

now take a closer look…

it’s the smallest humble bee

that we’ve effurr seen…

but it was eating so much
that it will be
maybe even bigger than me…
…in time…
…cute huh…
he must have come straight
out of his nest…
as a matter of speaking😸

and here’s probably the last
of angel Binky’s rose…
…of this year…

we’re also very
T H A N K F U L
that we got pictures
from our twofeet sister…

who saw it happened
last Sunday…

when there was a total lunar eclips
that we could see in our Country…

and in other Countries…
…nearby…

we only saw the darkness coming…
and late in the evening
there was light again…
Granny never saw the Moon
shining as brightly as the Stars…
…it was magical…

…and we got signs from our Angels…
…almost effurry day…
so deeply
T H A N K F U L
for that too✨

and yesterday we also got a
very COOL card…
from our furriends on the blog🩷

we feel very lucky
that we have so much to be
T H A N K F U L
for…

and now it’s time for our poem
for our furriends
Angel Sammy and Teddy…
…on this picture…

“It’s time to relax
but first we need a stretch
to find out from head to toe
how far we can go
and if we are still flexible
you know
old age comes with ailments
they say
but not if you’re practice
effurry day
and put in a lot of play
that’s what wisdom would say
so this is our way
from the cradle
for as long as we stay.”

So many lovely flowers and little creatures everywhere 🙂

Such lovely thank you’s, and gorgeous photos. That last photo of, Faye is precious. 😽

Oh, love your hot lips, they are just hard to photograph, I find. I am grateful for all this too ❤️🙏 Your red one which is blooming marvellous, so big. I got one this year too and love it. There is really so much to be thankful for indeed and every day 🙏🙏🙏❤️

I am glad Granny was able to save the moth. We were lucky to see the eclipse because it was cloudy here, but they did part and let us see if or a few minutes. I am sorry your tomatoes didn’t do well We had a bumper crop this year and I made a lot of tomato and basil soup and froze it for the winter. I think it was 15 or 17 litres, so that will last us a while. I put 0.7L in each freezer bag and that is enough for our big soup mugs.
The flowers are lovely. I was given a Hot Lips Salvia for my birthday. I think salvia and sage refers to the same plant. Your poem was very cute.

I love this!!! So many beautiful flowers and critters to be thankful for. And I’m so glad granny rescued the hummingbird moth. I used to have several in my old gardens, and I loved to watch them. They’re so fast!! But now we know Faye is faster. lol!!

Beautiful photos – the plants are doing a beautiful show before things get cold and they rest for several months during the cold. We have not seen any hummingbird moths but Mom has a visiting hummingbird who flies right up to her face and hovers almost every day! We think it might be Angel Sammy visiting……! Baby Faye touching her toe looks JUST like the bear in the poem photo and the poem you did was totally PERFECT too!!!!!
Love, Teddy

I’m thankful the moth survived and I very much enjoyed your poem.
We didn’t get to see the eclipse from here, just the moon except it was big and full and looked pretty in the low sky, like it was twice as big as always.

Faye, you need to be nice to the flying creatures. Beautiful moon shots. Great job on the poem. XO
Sep 13, 2025 @ 01:46:57
Such nice thankfuls and wonderful photos. I’m happy that the moth was okay. That was a fun poem too! Thanks for joining Angel Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
Sep 13, 2025 @ 01:36:45
So glad the moth is safe! That last photo of Faye is the cutest 🙂
Sep 13, 2025 @ 00:39:27
I love the eclipse photos
Sep 13, 2025 @ 00:38:33
Having experienced a hummingbird moth ourselves, we can imagine how a kitty would want to catch one!
However, it’s terrific that yours was okay and released.
We weren’t anywhere near seeing this lunar eclipse, yet know it must have been wild to see it.
Sep 13, 2025 @ 00:01:38
Your flowers are beautiful.
Sep 12, 2025 @ 23:36:48
Your hot lips sage is soooo beautiful. So is Angel Binky’s rose. Great job with the poetry.
Sep 12, 2025 @ 23:25:04
So much beautiful nature in your garden, and even in the sky AND the kitchen sink!! Wow. We’ve got some half dead summer flowers on the balcony that DoggieMom keeps threatening to replace, but last I checked they’re still there…
Sloppy kisses,
Delilah

We really enjoyed Faye’s photo of touching her toes like the bear.
All the photos were beautiful.
We are thankful too that Granny was able to save that big beautiful moth. Faye’s catching it was a kitty reflex.
