Hi (Furry)furriends😻💗😻

The day before I was going
to be spayed…
Granny got my carrier
from upstairs…

so I could get used to it
when we’re going to travel
together…

I have my own blankie
that needed some inspection too…

and when I was ready
with my investigation…

I was going outside
in the garden…
because Granny told me
that I couldn’t go out for a few days
after the operation…😾

the next morning
I had to stay in the carrier…
Peachy came to wish me well
and waited for Granny…
after she put me
next to her in the car…
…so I could see her the whole trip
and she could hold paws with me…
she fastened the seat bells
and got back inside…

to feed Peachy…
who was starving…
because he hadn’t eaten either
as I wasn’t allowed to eat after 6 o’clock p.m.
the day before…
because of the anesthesia…

and then he waited for us
on his favourite spot
on the scratching post…

and a few hours later
we came home again…
Granny was with me the whole time
and had to give the vet a hand
when she got me the anesthetic…
so that the operation could begin
after a few minutes…
the operation was very different
from the catstration
of Peachy and
our beloved Angel brother Stippie…

but it was fascinating…
I didn’t care whatever it was…
I hang out in another world…
and woke up in the carrier
during the trip home…

once at home
I opened the door
that Granny had left ajar…

and tried to walk to the litter box
because I had to do a little pee…
but I wasn’t ready to do that on my own…

and Peachy said
to put me back in the carrier
to do my business…
as this was happened to him and
Angel brother Stippie too…
in case she had forgotten😸
…which she never has
and never will…

then Peachy said
to put me in his big carrier…
and keep the door closed!
until I could stand staeady
on my paws…

and he purromised Granny
to watch over me

while she cleaned up the not-litter box
and the vomit
that also came out
when I was on the way
to do my business…

his eyes were sharpened
on effurry sound that came out
of my his carrier…

and he didn’t like the smell around me…
that made him a little nervous…

and then he came closer to me
to see if it really was me…

he spoke with me
and was happy that I was home again…

and then he smelled something in
my his carrier…

and had to come closer
to be sure…
he noticed
that I had peed again🙈

he said
he was going to watch me
from a little bit further away…

because he doesn’t want
the smell to come over him too😸

and then he was sending love vibes
from a distance…
hoping that effurrything
was going to be fine soon…

then Granny got me out of the wet box
and laid me down on the couch…
with a baby underlay…
so I couldn’t wet the couch…
but I crawl to her and laid myself
in the arms of Mary
in her arms…

and then I heard Peachy saying…
…Grannyyyy…
she did it again…

but I heard Granny say…
that I couldn’t do
anything about it…
and she gave me a kiss…

thank cat we have something
to get lost of the smell
after cleaning…🦨

in the evening
Granny slept downstairs
to make sure my little sister was safe…
and didn’t jump up and down
from something…
and I stood guard on the stairs
so she wouldn’t come up…
…not that it helped though…🙈

and then we had a quiet night
in the Full Moonlight…
and Faye lay in Granny’s arms
almost the whole night🌕

we’re very deeply
T H A N K F U L
that all went well with Faye
…so far…
and for all of your purrayers
POTP
and support💗
that means a lot to us
and it helped a lot💗
as Granny was very nervous
because of the anestesia…
and all the memories
that came up about Stippie
and Angel💫

now we’re working
on a speedy recovery
so that the little Purrinces
can go outside again soon…

…to be continued…
😸Have a Happy ThursCaturday my furriends😸
🙏Stay Safe Healthy and Yourselfie🙏

Aww. You’re such a sweet brother. I’m glad it went well.

So glad about everything…these necessary little fixes are a bit nervous-making always, but the vet is very able and has done many. So glad you are home little Faye, with your loving granny.

I’m sorry I was so busy and missed the post before this one. When Roary was neutered he didn’t have any accidents at all. Wondering if they sent Faye home too soon? Also, when Roary had his bladder stone surgery I put puppy pads EVERYWHERE……..they are great! Anything that comes out goes right on the disposable pads and they don’t smell either! I’m glad that Faye is feeling much better though! xoxo

I’m so glad everything went well with Faye!!! So different from my kitty spay experiences. I’ve been through it a zillion times with my girl feral colony cats and my housecats. It’s like the vet always says don’t let her jump for 3-4 days to make sure she doesn’t rip out any stitches. So what does the cat do? The minute I bring her home, she leaps out of the carrier like a race car and runs around the house jumping on and off furniture with me running after her, screaming, “DON’T JUMP, DON’T JUMP!!!” Does she listen? No. Good thing the vet always tells me a little blood on the stitches is ok as long as there’s no redness or swelling, which could mean infection. But there never is and even with all the crazy activity they always heal perfectly. But I’d much rather have a sleepy girl like Faye rather than a race car cat on Energizer batteries. Much less stress for me. lol!!! 😆

I’m sure everyone is glad little Faye is finished with the surgery but maybe it takes a while for the anesthesia to wear off…….I’m sure since you’re keeping a close eye on her she will be just fine. Granny will make sure she is on a “pee-proof” sheet and soon she will be not sleepy anymore and back to the cat tree with you Peachy! We’re sending HEALING hugs to her……
Love, Pam and Teddy too
