1. Playing ‘catch the ribbon’ with Granny in the garden was the highlight of my summer. We do the same game also inside the house, but we have more space outside for Granny, as she can’t run up and over the furniture inside…can you picture it…MOL😸

Staying outside in the garden while it still was dark, was the highlight of my winter. We’re not allowed to stay outside in the dark when it’s summer, but now that it’s still dark outside in de mornings and late afternoon, Granny made an exeption. It took a lot of guts and trusts at first, but now she’s over it…YAY!

Helping with the sterilization of my daughter’s cat and the castration of her dog was the highlight of my year 2024. We were also allowed to stay and watch the neutering of Peachy and Stippie, two years earlier, so that was already very special, but this was really something…I really missed my calling😉

2. A new book (or movie or tv show) that I highly recommend is Animal Lessons of Danielle McKinnon. Granny told me about this book and it’s a great book to discover your spiritual connection with animals. It’s not a new book, it was made in 2017, but it is still relevant and new effurry time we look into it😺

A new book that I highly recommend is Soul Contracts between Animals and human of Tammy Billups, spiritual agreements between our Souls and our animal and to heal past life’s karma together. Another book that Granny told us about. Made in 2020😸

A new book that I highly recommend is The Fairy tale of Death written by Marie-Claire van der Bruggen. It’s about a Little Soul who makes her first journey to planet Earth. It was written in 2009, but it was new for me when I first held it in my hand, about 5 years ago. This book was a confirmation of my feelings and my beliefs. Also a great book for children who have to deal with losses🙏

3. Playtime makes me feel like a kid again😸

When Granny holds me in her arms and rocks me, makes me feel like a kid again and I show her that by my loudest purr😻

Playing with Stippie and Peachy makes me feel like a kid again😁

4. If I had to sing karaoke right now, I’d choose the song Jump of Van Halen, because I like to jump a lot when I’m playing😸

If I had to sing karaoke right now, I’d choose the song Yummy Yummy Yummy of The Ohio Express, no further explanation needed…MOL…

If I had to sing karaoke right now, I’d choose the song Holding back the years of Simply Red, it described my feelings back in 1985, the year this song was released and besides it’s the only song that I can sing by heart…😄

…the snow is gone…

…but it’s furreezing…

…so we’re inside…

…to keep us warm with a blankie…

…or between the ..err…floors…

…while we’re doing the fill ins…

1.I’ll never let Granny buy bulk actions from Zooplus again. Granny bought a lot of our food so we could survive the Holidays, but when she opened the cans, the food looked different and smelled different too, and I, Stippie the picky eater, don’t eat ‘my food’ anymore effurr since. Now I only eat Peachy’s food, because there’s a lot more taste in it. Peachy on the other hand, eats effurrything, so he can have my canned fishies🐟🦐

2. It’s all fun and games until Granny stops playing with us, to make dinner or something else she needs to do. Then we run after each other like crazy, going up and down the stairs with the mewsic of the drama Queen …aka Stippie…MOL…we just can’t get enough😸😸

3. I once got lost here when I was biking. We lived here only for a few weeks and I wanted to get to know the environment. So I jumped on my bike and biked…and biked…and biked, and after an hour or two, I thought, that’s enough, I’m going home, but I didn’t know how to get to the other side of the road that I had to cross first. I knew it by car, but not by bike, so it took me a few hours to find the way where I could cross the road and what a relief that was…phew… Yes, I had my phone with me, but I didn’t know by then how to use gps/maps and my hubby was busy moving our things from our old house to our new house, more than 200 km/124 miles from here🙈

4. Meowing like a drama Queen is the most normal thing about me😸

Drool when I see food…or Granny…is the most normal thing about me😸

Talking with animals is the most normal thing about me🧙‍♀️

1.I will keep my old melon over a new one any day. It’s a heirloom of Auntie Angel Binky and therefore irriplaceable🍉

I will keep my old habits over a new one any day. Effurrything that I do, I do effurr since I was born, and I just can’t get use to do something else😺

I will keep my old furniture over a new one any day. I have my Queen Anne furniture since when I was going to live on my own. I was 17 then, so that will be 50 years this year. My grandmother bought them for me secondhand and when we ever have to move, this is going with us, it’s irriplaceable with a lot of memories on to it😊

2. My theme song for the year is

“There is a mousie near the housie.” No further explanation necessary🐭🐭

3. The late morning until late afternoon is the most relaxing part of my day. 💤💤

…idem dito…but I’m awake earlier, so I have time left to play alone with Granny, without us being disturbed by Peachy😸

After eight p.m. until the next morning is the most relaxing part of my day. It’s when I have done everything that I had to do and wanted to do and finally allow myself to relax completely💤💤

4. When I have to wait for my…or other one’s food…is the most stressful part of my day, because I never know what I get, or not. It’s not dependent on a specific time by the way😸

After eight p.m. is the most stressful part of my day. It’s when Granny wants to relax and I have still energy to play and when she doesn’t respond on me anymore, I meow like a dramaqueen. but then she calls me to come and sit down on her lab, so I get at least some extra laptime😸

Early mornings is the most stressful part of my day. I have to help my hubby to get to work, feed the kitties, clean the litterboxes, because when I am preparing the meals, there’s always one who has to let the meals go again…as a matter of speaking…🤭but when all is done, I meditate for half an hour to refind myself again🧘‍♀️

1. My guide word for 2025 is Peace. When I bring Peace into my heart, the whole world inside me will be peaceful as well and then it spreads itself automatically into the world, I just have to heal everything that brings me out of balance etc.🙏

2. I am counting the days to Spring and Summer. I like to be outside, but not in the cold, so I guess I have to count a lot until then…🙈

3. 2025 is the year that I will do effurrything that I have always done…Enjoy effurrything that crosses my path🐭🦋🐦

4. I need to better organize my books. I really made a mess with all the books I haven’t read yet. They are spread everywhere in my bookcase and on top of each other, so I no longer have an overview, 🤔and having no overview makes me restless…and restless leads to out of balance…and out of balance means no peace…so better we’re going to work on that, kitties…are you helping me📚

1. My favourite Christmas movie (or book) is…I don’t know yet, but Granny showed me the trailer of Santa Claws, so I think that’s going to be one of my favourites…after I have seen it, of course😸

My favourite Christmas Movie (or book) is Ratatouille…What? That’s not a Christmas Movie? But there’s a menue in it…and big mousies…so for me it’s a Christmas Foodie🐀

My favourite Christmas Movie (or book) is Angels in the Snow. This movie contains everything where I believe in✨

2. My favourite Christmas song is Little Drummer boy…I guess. Granny told us that she had to play the triangle at the Christmas Pawty, when she was in her first year of highschool. She was so afraid to miss the ‘clings’ after the ‘pa rum pum pum pums’….but she never did. So now I’m furry curious about this song and maybe we can cling along😸

My favourite Christmas song is Jingle Bells. Just because I can Jingle all the way… and bell for food the whole day🛎😸

My favourite Christmas song is Thank God it’s Christmas of Queen. This song touched my heart the moment I first heard it in 1984. I never got over it..in the right meaning of the words of course…😂 But I also love Do you know it’s Christmas of Band Aid, also released in 1984. WOW! Great year for Christmas songs I believe😀

3. Playing, sleeping, playing, eating, ~~get yourself~~ giving a lot of headrubs is the best way to spread Christmas cheer and not to forget, always be kind to effurryone😸

Eat, sleep, eat, sleep, collect all left overs, and get yourself a lot of aww’s is the best way to spread Christmas cheer and not to forget, be patient with effurryone😸

Start with sending Christmascards, eat, drink and have fun together. Respect each other for who you are, and not how you want them to be, play games like Cat-opoly (click on the link to see the introduction by our sweet Angel Binky) and make the one who isn’t a good loser, a second winner…I never forget the glimps in the eyes of my second grandchild when I told him that he was the second winner🤭 These things and always be yourself is the best way to spread Christmas cheer✨

4. January 2, 2025, when effurrything goes back to normal, is my favorite day of the holiday season😸

The day before Christmas, when it’s just the four of us, is my favourite day fo the holiday season😸

I like to spend Christmasday with the family, but I also like to get back to normal again, so I actually don’t have a favorite day of the holiday season🤷‍♀️
