we received your memorial

…last Furriday…

and we put it in front of the angel

to look at it effurry day😿

it still feels so unreal…

but at the same time

also so final…

I leaned forward slightly

to make sure

that effurrything was legible…

and if I could still smell you

around here…

then Granny and I

sat down for a while…

to shed our tears

and to memorialize…

our first day in our furrever home

playing with your furrever ball…

and sitting in our too big

cat tree…

the highest of all🙈

but that we liked so much…

during day time…

and night-time…

…a twenty-four-seven tree…

always hanging out together…

so we could see Granny and Grandpaw

all the time…

and they could see us

…all time too…

then we remembered you

sitting with Granny

when she was busy doing her things…

alone or together…

no matter where she was…

you were always near to her…

helping her making posts

for our memories…

and for our furriends…

you loved to be around Granny…

no matter what she did…

when she was doing yoga

you watched her closely…

while I had other plans…🐱

you always slept with Granny

the whole night long…

lying in her lap…

on the bed

or next to her…

and when you weren’t on the desk

you slept next to it…

always looking at her

and talking to her…

and making sure that she saw you…

and to show her your preys

that you collected

through the night…🙈

effurry day…

you marked the whole bathroom

a few days

before you were gone…

to make sure

that I still smelled you

when you’re gone…

and then we had to cry again

little Bro…

and I remembered

all our playtimes…

together…

and alone…

you always wanted to catch

the screws of the chairs and tables…

look how fascinated you always were…

we have made so many memories

little Bro…

and we’re so happy

that we have at least a lot of pictures…

to tell our stories

which we want to continue to tell here…

and video’s…

together with me…

and with Granny…

sucking on her dressing robe…

lying in the arms of Mary

Grandpaw…

to be petted…

always being first to greet Granny

when she came back from the stores…

your cute little face…

and all your talks…

almost saying the words exactly

when you squeaked…

and we never forget

all your Houdini-acts

which made Granny over concerned

and oh, so stressed out…

wished we had that stress again

instead of your loss…💔

and then your drinking acts…

not the easiest way to do it…

we also had to close the toilet

because you fished inside it too…🐟🙈

but it was all worth it…

and most entertaining

for us to see…

we never forget you

little brother of me…

when we look at you

we see a face full of love…

forever etched in our heart…

but her arm has healed completely…
