Hi (Furry)furriends💗

No…

I’m not playing with my treats

Granny…

I know you can’t play with food…

I only wanted to be

T H A N K F U L

for them…

and eat them right after…

they’re very yummy…

for my yesterday’s tanned tummy…

I only have to move chew a little longer

but my teeth are still intact…

so I’m very

T H A N K F U L

for them too…

and I’m

T H A N K F U L

that I can do another poem today

for my furriends Angel Sammy and Teddy

with this picture…

“Oh, Granny,

it looks like a decade ago

when we were playing

with marbles

you know…

full exitement

on the floor

you hit the balls

but I’m not sure

if they were rolling

through the door

straight on my couch

upon my blankie

to play a little

hanky panky

and eat them right after

as sugar candy

but as they weren’t the treats

that I could eat

I didn’t look happily after

but bittersweet.”

Hi (Furry)furriends💗

I’m

T H A N K F U L

to have a warm couch

to keep me warm

and dry

when it’s wet and chilly outside…

…and for my daily bread food and water…

and a look at myself…

and I’m

T H A N K F U L

for the new furresh nip that comes to you

when you can’t get out

because of the rain…

or you take an umbrella to keep you dry…

Talking about umbrellas…

That reminds me that I have to do a poem

for my furriends

Angel Sammy and Teddy

about this picture…

“When it rains cats and dogs

out of the sky

we need an umbrella

to keep us dry

and leave the droplets

way up high.

When it rains blossoms

out of the sky

the colourful fairies

keep them real high

with an umbrella

draped like flypapurr

they fly back high

into the sky

and the wind

will blow them back

A Poetic Thankful Thursday

Hi (Furry)furriends💗

I’m

T H A N K F U L

for the serene silence

in our garden…

and all the helpers I have

in my garden…

like the Angels…

Fairies…

 and Elves…

and even

if you can’t seen them clear…

they’re always here…

for a little conversation…

and help with the plants…

I’m also

T H A N K F U L

that Granny gives me furresh water

in the garden every day…

so I can start to dig the wooden chips away…

sing a song

and drink…or not…

at least not

when she’s points the camera at me…

…sorry but the helpers also turned the video…😹

I could tell you so much more

about our garden…

but it’s Poetry time now with my furriends

Angel Sammy and Teddy…

and this week’s picture…

that reminded me of our flower…

so this poem is based on a true story…

“In April Granny was sowing seeds

of beautiful flowers that she needs

to keep the ants away

before they wanted to stay.

The weather was fine

in the evening at nine

so after two weeks

she planted the seeds

outside in the garden

where they could get harden

but Winter stopped by again

without any pardon.

Then that night the creatures came by

and got the only target in their eye

and the next day

there was nothing left to stay

all the leaves were eaten away

only one stem and flower was still there

and Granny felt pity in the air

She talked to the flower

that it wasn’t fair

and that she was beautiful

with so much flair

and that she has the right

to be there

but not alone

she needed someone who took care

and placed the little Tagete

where she is surrounded

with loving day and night care

from the flowers

that already stood there.

Summer has set in

it’s 31°C in the garden at this time…

so today I’m very

T H A N K F U L

for places undercover…

and besides…

Granny can’t find me here

to pick me up

and brings me back inside

where I have to stay until the temperature

has dropped…

…like in furrever…🙄

Granny is

T H A N K F U L

for the rich harvest…

of the raspberries…

and strawberries…

that she has to can share every day

with Grandpaw…😹

We’re really

T H A N K F U L

that Summer is here now…

Granny and I are Summer girls

and we have so much more energy

when the Sun is out…

Of course we’re always

T H A N K F U L

for all of

YOU

who like to stop by and see me…

and now

I still have energy for a poem…

for my Angel furriend Sammy and his brotherTeddy…

“Every night

before I sleep tight

I see a Lady

reaching out for the moonlight

to energize the stars

and let them shine bright

into the night

like a dance

filled with romance

but I don’t really know

if I’m in a trance

or if it’s just the sleep

that I’m counting stars

instead of sheep.”

A Poetic Thankful Thursday

Hi (Furry)furriends💗

Another Thursday has arrived

so I have to tell you

what I’m

T H A N K F U L

for today…

See that crob behind me?

That’s my nip…

and it’s getting harvested today…

…come quick…

so I can show you how it works…

before you start

you first have to inhale the fragrance

a little while…

so you get that drive…

to put you up on your paws…

and then you help to harvest…

…and when you’re finished

you have done some grateful work

 for the plant…

that can shoot some new sprouts

for the critters and me…

and for a second harvest in Autumn…

I think that will make them very happy

and me too… 😉

And now up and over to

“There’s magic under the ground

I can hear it

safe and sound

everything that grows up

grows down

so when there’s nothing more

to be found

just dig deep inside

to find your fairies and light
