there are birdies in the garden…

he’s a youngster…

and he was here before…

and now that he’s on the table

I know exactly what kind of birdie it is…

as he sits with his behiny

almost in my face…

it’s a little Black Redstart…

…don’t know the English name for it…

but in Latin it is called

Phoenicurus ochruros

…at least that’s what I think…

for me every birdie is just a flying object birdie…
