…to draw attention to
animal rights…
such as the right
that animals should not be
neglected…
and Francis of Assissi
…the Saint of this day…
who was able to talk to animals
said…
“All things of creation
are children of the father
and thus
brothers of men…
God wants us to help animals…
if they need help…
Every creature in distress
has the same right
to be protected.”
so this is the day that
every animal gets extra treats…
…A treat
in my case…
when you can’t wait
till the picture is done…
and…
more…
for…
them…
and
extra carrots…
but some
have to look out…
all by…
themselves…
to get something
fishy…
while others are just
lying there…
or sitting there
for their own interests…
and a purrivate
conversation…
or a lonesome meal…
but it’s all good…
as long…
as we are…
good for them…
and give them a…
a safe environment…
a happy home..
a loving heart…
lots of treats…food…
and
lots of sleep…
medical care when it’s needed….
then we all can say…
