It’s another
Thankful Thursday
…again…
and I am thankful today
for this bag
of garden mould…
to lie on…
…it keeps my tummy warm
now that Autumn
has arrived
and
it is not so warm
anymore
…at least not in the mornings
and evenings…
Granny found this poor girl
…all alone…
in the streets…
…and she was really scared…
and some people were standing
around her…
…they meant well
with Lady…Duck…
but that scared her even more…
Then Granny crouched down
and saw that the husband…
…of Lady Duck…
…was waiting for her
on the other side
of the path…
..probably to take her out
for dinner…
…at a fancy restaurant…
but when he heard Granny
calling for him
and telling him
that his Lady was to afraid
to cross the road…
and that no-one
wanted to harm them…
…he came to get her…
without any tension
of fear…
…and Granny was deeply thankful
…for the reunion…
..and she urged them to
…stay together…
…no matter what…
