No…

I won’t come out…

of the closet…

…not yet…

…a violent storm

blew over our Country…

…yesterday…

…and I was

very scared…

waiting…

…and purraying

that it would blow over…

and while Granny…

flew run after…

her dustbins in the street…

…who had taken a

purrivate flight

with the wind…

I was still lying…

there…

waiting…

until it would blow over…

and it did…

…in the evening

there was only thunder and lightening….

…but with a lot of damage

in our Country…

I’m very

T H A N K F U L

that it is over now…

and that we still have a roof

over our head…

…it was the worst storm

since 1990…

and it has caused a lot of damage…

…we only wished

that we weren’t the only ones

who had been so lucky…

I  was busy…

watching fish tv…

…the other day…

when I heard the mailman…

rattling the mailbox…

and I turned over…

away from fish-tv…

made a wish…

and crossed all my paws…

to give an extra

dimension to my wish…

and there it was…

yes…it’s for me…

a parcel…

from Angel Phoebe…

‘s mom…

and I turned away…

from Granny…

because I had to….

something

in my eyes…

…and then I made a little

thank you purrayer…

for one of my best furriends

in the cosmos…

and again

I turned over…

and asked Granny for a helping

…paw…

to open the envelope…

…let’s see what’s inside of it…

first there was

a little note…

and then I found…

…carrots for my eyes…

…and a chick..

-en wings to fly…

and this hat…

this very special hat…

that is made

for a very special occasion…

and with my furr-robe…

it looks purrfect…

…don’t you think…

well…anyway…

it means that I am now

a member of the…

club…

because I have reached

my blessed age of

…15 years…

not that it shows….

I feel like it…

but…another anyway…

my furriend Kali….

of the Canadian Cats…

something on the problem…

It was

World Animal Day…

…yesterday…

and today…

…and every day…

…to draw attention to

animal rights…

such as the right

that animals should not be

neglected…

and Francis of Assissi

…the Saint of this day…

who was able to talk to animals

said…

“All things of creation

are children of the father

and thus

brothers of men…

God wants us to help animals…

if they need help…

Every creature in distress

has the same right

to be protected.”

so this is the day that

every animal gets extra treats…

…A treat

in my case…

when you can’t wait

till the picture is done…

and…

more…

for…

them…

and

extra carrots…

but some

have to look out…

all by…

themselves…

to get something

fishy…

while others are just

lying there…

or sitting there

for their own interests…

and a purrivate

conversation…

or a lonesome meal…

but it’s all good…

as long…

as we are…

good for them…

and give them a…

a safe environment…

a happy home..

a loving heart…

lots of treats…food…

and

lots of sleep…

medical care when it’s needed….

then we all can say…

had to help my mom
