Hi (Furry)furriends,
I have to tell you a story
that has happened last week
while Granny and Grandpa
took a walk
and feed the
duckies…
and the
geese…
Here’s a close up
when they saw Granny…
and Grandpa…
and the food….
What food?
It looks like my food…
but Granny said
she bought it in the Pet Store,
especially for ducks and geese
and swans…
so there was no food of mine included..
Look how eager they run
for the food…
so are the ducks…
except…
they ran beyond…
the food…
and asked Granny
for the usual
bread crumbs
instead of this…
whatever-it-may-be-food…
Poor feathered furriends….
Next time I share my food with you 🙂

Gosh, those geese are pretty darn cute. I’ve never seen one up close, myself, but I have seen ’em flyin’ – and honkin’ – overhead.

Hideehoo, my furriend. Granny felt so guilty, when they didn’t eat that special food. She told them that she would come back with the usual

Chuck: yea, that’s me. i only eat the dog food that has the highest protein percentage and if they try to give me a grain filler type poopy substitute, i go on a hunger strike. well, i take a few nibbles but that is it!!! i’m sneaky like that…ruff-ruff 😀

Granny was a huge fan of Lou Reed and this song did fit in my post, so we were singing all the way 😀 Granny has learned that when you are afraid to go nearby them, they feel the energy and react on it, but when you don’t think and just act like it is the most natural thing in the world, they are okay…but only if they don’t have little ones. Wonderful pictures, Little Binky! Such sweet ducks. You might want to have granny check on something — I was told one time that we shouldn’t feed bread to the ducks as it can cause health issues for them. Hugs! 🙂

Thanks, Linda 🙂 Granny knows that it is better not to feed them when there is still food around. During Wintertime it is okay, but only modestly and certainly not during the mating season. That’s why she bought this, as called healthy food especially for my feathered furriends, but they are so picky
just like meandaddictedused to breadcrumbs, that they don’t want to eat something else anymore. Thanks for bringing this up, Linda, it’s very impawtant to make people aware of issues that’s going on in the world.
