this is a looooooooong post… 🙂
I was sitting
in my trusted platform
the whole day…
and looked a little around…
and asked myself..
why Granny and Grandpaw
brought me here…
while there was nothing
to do….
except to sleep a little…
….all alone…
and searching for hiding places
when I heard strange voices…
but then came Granny
to talk to me
and telling me
that I don’t have to be afraid,
because she won’t leave me alone
and she was really worried
that I was going to have a depression,
because I looked so
….sad…
That made her sad too,
….very sad…..
and
she spent every single moment
with me in the attic
when she wasn’t at work
in the house…
We ate and drank together…
she played with me….
…not while I was eating of course…
but I have to show you…
that I still had a good appetite…. 😉
but here you can see me…
playing with my new toy….
And then came the night,
the first night in our new house…
and I jumped off my self made
kind of tent…
and went to the sleeping place
of Granny and Grandpaw…
purring the loudest as I could…
just to let Granny know
that I’m fine…
and that I understood
that they had to take me with them…
because there was nobody
to take care of me at our old house…
…and besides that…
I missed Granny so much…
….and she missed me too…
that they had to take me with them…
knowing that I’ll be fine…
After purring her that
and giving her about
….a thousand headbongs…
AND
some extra kneeding…
I decided to help them to
finish the house
as fast as I could…
So first I ate a little grass
in the earliest morning…
when the sun rose…
and did a little measuring…
…hung the wallpaper..
…ate some of the
*whispers* wallpaper paste…
that tasted good
I can tell you 😉
…then I did a little
intruders-controle…
and made myself useful…
as a floor lamp…
and assisted Grandpaw…
with the floor…
I even did some touch up…
and testing…
before I went upstairs…
to support Granny…
and when the floor downstairs…
and upstairs were ready…
and the wallpaper
was on the wall…
as well as the paint
in most of the rooms…
Grandpaw drove to our old house
to get our furniture….
In the meantime
Granny and I were waiting….
for the truck…
and the furniture…
and after waiting for almost
a whole day
he called to say
that it was impossible
to drive
because they have worked
for such a long time
to get everything in the truck
that they hardly could stand on their feet
anymore…
Allthough we were very disappointed
we understood,
because we only had help
from my mom, my auntie and
a best furriend…
our other furriends were on holidays…
not at home
or on the run…
Granny and I decided
to go to bed early
to make the waiting…
….quicker….
The next morning
Granny woke me up…
to tell me
that Grandpaw was on his way…
And there he was…
with all of the furniture…
the table…
my couch…
everything was there…
a lot of boxes….
everywhere around the house…
and for the first time…
I made myself
a smiling Selfie
because it really felt like
HOME again 🙂
