Hi (Furry)furriends,
When Granny and Grandpaw
came home from shopping
yesterday…
I had to tell them
that I was freaked out…
because a dove
almost flew into the room…
…if there wasn’t a window
between us…
There she sat…
swollen…
like she was sick…
and Granny didn’t know yet
what has happened…
The dove didn’t even move
while Grandpaw took pictures…
and Granny thought
she was expecting a baby…
…dove…
because of the Season…
but Granny didn’t listen
to me…
when I turned my head over
to the other window
…to show her…
what the dove did
after the fall…
and the four feathers she had lost…
…but when I kept staring
to the window…
Granny finally saw the spot
of the crash of the dove
in the window…
and tears run from
her cheeks…
when she saw the whole
scenario
coming through her mind…
and Granny put a plate mineral water
with a remedy on the table….
and some dove’s food…
…and we both purrayed
for a speedy recovery…
And when we woke up this morning…
and looked outside the window..
we didn’t saw the dove…
anymore…
and Granny said
with a pityful voice…
‘Now we never know if the dove
is still alive… 😦 ‘
and then we saw something moving…
…I saw it first…
….it looked right into Granny’s eyes…
….turned around…
and flew away….. 🙂
Isn’t it the greatest gift
on this Caturday Morning?…
And this is what we made
for my furriend’s…
…to give the dove
a special place
on our bloggie….
and one of me…
…of course… 😉

Oh, I held my breath with the stunningly beautiful bird – and was so cheered by the ending. Your kind offerings of water, food , and purrs in hope are bound to have calmed that flighty spirit so she could stay near – just to let you know it was OK now.
I am always behind return visiting. I enjoy writing, so I do that first. Sometimes life is busy and blog reading has to wait a bit. Most bloggers are in the same boat and understand. You can only do what you can…bloggin must be fun, not a chore.
And of course nice weather, the outdoors in spring and cats are first for getting attention. Paw waves to you!

Hi Binky. Clean windows do harm birds. A courting bird sees its reflection and will attack the trespasser in its territory. Secondly, a flying bird will see a mirror of the garden and think its a hole in the house to fly through. So, when Granny has dirty windows, it’s a bird saver and that’s her excuse 😀 lol

I think the dove was preggers too but it looked more like a pigeon to me. We only post 4 times a week and find it hard to comment every day.

We love stories with a happy end like this one ! As Mum is working 80% time, she helps us to blog twice a week only, but is not able to comment on every blog every day. She’s a little bit crazy, she follows 150 blogs (mostly in English, but in French and German too !).

Binky Mom used to be able to comment everyday but now with all the troubles she is having she sometimes just can’t do much of anything except keep up with the daily stuff she HAS to do. But to keep us blogging everyday she preposts, otherwise we’d never have anything up on our bloggie. We hope she gets back to taking our photos like she used too. She is too overwhelmed to even do that. We are happy about your dove and you sure do look gorgeous on this Caturday.

So wee mee-yowed about an wee decided to make a list.
LadyMum put her 360 days blogging furendss on it; then Nylablue’ss ‘Guardian Angels’ an good furendss (that’ss YOU!) an mee furendss. It was hard to make thee cuts butt fingss are goin MUCH better now. No stress! Well not as much 😉

It sure is hard to keep up with a blog sometimes, isn’t it? But, we do so enjoy it! I (sometimes barely) manage to keep up by preparing posts in the evening, or in the morning, as I am an early riser. I try to use work breaks and my lunch hour to keep up with commenting on my furiends’ blogs. Sometimes I don’t keep up well, but I sure do try. It’s all much easier on weekends. Purrs!

Aw, first tears of sadness, then tears of joy for that beautiful little dove. Then absolute pleasure at your art! I’m with you on trying to understand how some people can post daily, respond to everyone, and keep up with it. I’m so far behind, it’s not even funny! I just keep trying to jump in where I am.
