Hi (Furry)furriends ❤
Today
I like to give you
a tour around my garden…
Summer is almost over…
and the flowers have almost
ceased blossoming…
…so get on your paws…
and walk with me…
…as long as it lasts…
…and STOP…
for Heather…
…is’t she gorgeous…
Granny put three of them
in a big pot…
to give the garden
a little color..
…in Winter…
Heather and I are
look-a-likes
not because of the color…
but because she symbolize
…silence and seclusion…
two things I appreciate too…
in my life…
now look at that
softies…
they’re full of flies…
but that should not
spoil the fun…
The Astilbe indicates
Patience…
and Wordly pleasures…
…meaning the good things
in life…
as they were made for me…
…and here’s our
…Honeysuckle…
flower of hanging into
memories
and trustworthiness…
…she really smells like
angels…
in the evening….
…as if I ever knew
how the Angels smell…
well..in fact
I knew how Angel smelled…
not like a
Honeysuckle at all…
…talking about Angels…
now look at that…
…doesn’t she look
…happy…
on top of the Verbena…
the holy herb…
that gives so much inspiration…
and it is very moving…
no, not the Butterfly…
but of the emotions…
did you know…
when you put Verbena
in your pocket
that you never get tired…
and it seems you won’t
get lost either…
*mumbles*
if only Hansel and Gretel
would have known…*
…now look who’s
hanging around
also…
that looks like…
a flying shrew mouse…
…MOUSES…
…better get on
with the tour…
…before you get distracted…
yes…
I can smell that…
this is the place…
to settle down…
and look at that…
Snap Dragon Flower…
that has spread out herself
everywhere…
She represents gracefulness
but also deception…
it’s nice to watch the bumble bees
getting in and out of the beak
with so much speed
that we couldn’t make a picture…
of it…
…and now watch very closely
…biggify if you need to…
and see how someone
made himself at home
…in the lion’s den…
now there’s one special thing
that we want to show you…
let me see where it is…
I think
we have to be very quiet…
before she shows up…
there she is…
near the stylisch
Anemones…
Have you ever seen…
something more beautiful…
…at night…
than this ‘Lieveling’
that’s her name…
…Dutch for Darling….
…Timandra Comae
is the Latin name
for this moth…
…btw…
she lives in our garden…
so does the Butterfly…
…I have prove of that…
…but I show you that
some other time…
It was a long tour…
and I have to make…
some serene artwork…
…and one stormy one…
as Autumn is on its way…
and one serene again…
for balance…
Have a great Caturday
and
Be Safe!

That was a perfect tour Binky. We learned so much today from you. You certainly are the most beautiful teacher we’ve ever seen. Thank you. And we want to send our thoughts and purrayers out to all who are facing the hurricanes right now.

Lovely flowers – clever Granny, I enjoyed hearing about their meanings. Our honeysuckle has finished now, but we seem to have a last minute display of roses this year. I just bought some lavender too, I love lavender. The moth is fabulous too!
As always, wonderful artwork, and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour of your garden, Binky. 😺💕xxx

What a great tour. TW loved your Heather and was wondering if there’s lavender too. That’s her favorite. Once a flutterby landed o Pop’s shoulder. I think he was blessed.

What a lovely garden and what an inspiring and balanced garden tour. We have learned a lot. Between hiding bees, and resident moths and butterflies, you will never be lonely there, Little B.

What a great garden tour that was, thank you! You are so knowledgeable about the flora & fauna, too! You are a purr-fect steward of your garden. Say, have you ever caught one of those big flutterbys? I see yellow and black ones land on flowers out my window. Do you get those, too? Purrs.
