A beautiful butterfly. A friend once told me that when a loved one dies the butterfly forms a special bond. I realized this when my cat died on 9-11-2015. Good pictures of the butterfly. That butterfly is special.

One very hot day, I had to walk across a big (and hot!) parking lot to get to my place of work. I was dripping sweat. Then a tiger swallowtail landed on the frame of my glasses! I stopped, astonished to have this little companion, then it’s proboscis dropped down to the corner of my eye. It drank a little of my sweat and flew away! I was awestruck! I couldn’t resume my walk till I absorbed what had happened. It is one of the more magical moments of my life!
