Please let us know in the comments and when you have instructions for us

they’re more than welcome!
We have been busy for almost a week now to find out what to do
and now searching for the released update,
but can’t find it and we don’t know how we must do it otherwise
and you know
with only two days to go
we’re running out of time 🙀🤷🤦
These stupid rules almost made us quit blogging…
we know that it is necessary
but why can’t they keep it simple
for a hobby-blogger like us…

Wow, Binky, that is a fine rocker that Granny got. I bet you and she will use it often. And that litter mat with the kitty face on it is super cute. I luv the bright color! It reminds me of one of Mom’s iris plants that is in bloom right now. Tummy tickles!

Yeah, I know I’m the greatest…gift, miss Ellen 🙂 We are not so stressed anymore about the stoopid rules, we wait and see with what WordPress comes and then we make a purrivacy statement, we also got help from Basil with that. Binky, what a very thoughtful present you got your granny for her litter! I Bet she loved it. I just did my GDPR updates yesterday, even though I am in the U.S. When I logged into WordPress over the weekend, I noticed they had a helpful template for a new Privacy Policy. I’m not sure if it is on the WP.com sites — I use self-hosted WP, but I imagine that WP.com would have some helpful hints in their interface.

Thank you for your reply, CC 🙂 We got a message this morning, that WordPress is updating automatically all the blogs as there was a problem with the latest version. That was really a relieve. We would have chosen for an extra page on our blog, because it was not clear to us if we must have had to use this one. Everthing was so contradictory and as English isn’t our native language, it made it even worse…MOL 😀 Thanks again for your input. You know you get an extra Pawkiss for that 🙂 ❤

We have heard about an update and we were able to find it on our blog too, but without a button for the update, that would had make it so much easier…sigh. As for GDPR, I haven’t done anything and don’t recall any advice coming through. I’d forgotten about it to be honest as I see it as “work” 🙂 Possibly pop in a privacy policy page to mention that you can see commenters’ email and IP address but you don’t sell them to anyone or something like that (both email and IP address count as “personally identifiable information”).
It gets more complicated if you have ads on your blog I expect, and it applies to everyone. I think if someone has a blog outside of the EU but people inside the EU read it, it has to be GDPR compliant.
