A Musical Wednesday

Hi (Furry)furriends ❤

Finally the storm is over…

so we can clean up

what it has damaged in the garden…

…eventual…

and I can play some music for my furriends

while Granny is we’re busy…

today’s music Theme is

…March born mewsicians

Let’s see what I can find for that…

that also made a great impurression to Granny

halfway the seventies..

Lou Reed born March 2, 1942

while driving to work every day

and stuck in a traffic jam every day…

she was listening to this great singer’s songs…

and it was a pleasure to be stuck in the middle

of the traffic…

I hope you had a great Birthday in Heaven

mr. Lou Reed…

…you truly were

Not full of his own impawtancy at all…

I found another great singer who has a Birthday this month…

Chaka Kahn March 23, 1952

and there’s

Arthur Lee born March 7, 1945

frontman of Love…

this song of 1967…

wait…

I need my nip for that…

there it is…

but first I have to see…

how I get there…

and now…

I’m ready…

to start again…

Awww, Binky looks so happy out in the garden, and even happier settled down in the basket to listen to some good tunes.

Great music, but my mommy doesn’t like that Summer Wine girl very much! The song is great and she sings beautifully and a great song but she sounds a little mean and sinister to her!

Ah! What do I know about humans. I’m a cat. And it’s very artistic. Plus cats can act just as cunning, can’t we? Love your selections! Patzy

Lou Reed, like me, was born in New York City and, in fact, the New York Public Library opened an archive of his work just the other day. I don’t know his mewsic that well but I had heard of him and Chaka Khan. I hadn’t heard of Arthur Lee and it was instant love with The Red Telephone. Always am excited when I like a new band.

Pawsome! We would like to see that Lou Reed archive, Alana, maybe they show it in our Courtry too sometimes 🙂 Arthur Lee & Love were a psychedelic rockband halfway the 60ties, just as Pink Floyd. Some great music in those years huh 😀 Pawkisses🐾😽💞

    I love Lou Reed’s songs.
I hope the storm didn’t do too much damage in your garden. Our garden escaped the worst of it, but we had several trees down around the edges of our fields. Oh well, at least we will have plenty of wood for the log burner next winter.

I believe the only artist by name I know is Chaka Kahn. Lou Reed sounds familiar but I can’t swear to it. Arthur Lee & Love definitely new-to-me. The interesting thing is all your song selections are introductions, so I am totally digging that. Thanks for the share. Now, let me stop gabbing at you and listen to this fine mewsic! 😉
