for the first time
thinking it was Bob Dylan, but knowing it was not…
and there was something familiar with Bruce Springsteen too…
and she got goosebumps
*btw now I know why she loves the goosies so much*
because the music was so her kind of music…
and now it”s mine too…

Where do I start? War on Drugs – new to me, the middle one of their songs the singer did sound a little like Dylan. I think I would need to be in a mellow mood to listen to them. Dylan – shocked when I played the video and it was really him – so many Dylan videos on You Tube aren’t him. That is my hubbie’s favorite Dylan song so I’ve heard it a lot, and it is still so relevant, sadly. In closing, I am not the greatest of Springsteen’s fan (I know, hiss boo, but I never could get into most of what I’ve heard from him) but this song was fantastic.

Gad you liked it, Alana 😀 Actually The War on Drugs got inspired of the mewsic of Dylan and Springsteen, so it’s not that the singer sings like Bob Dylan, but you can hear a little resemblance in his kind of singing. We always love what inspires some bands to play like they do when they’re new, can be very surpurrising 😀 Pawkisses🐾😽💞

I didn’t see your name on Monday/Tuesday.. but I gotcha today. I swear the more I see these kitty pics the more I think about getting one, but hubby will never let me have one. Besides I had our Charlie which is a black lab even though he’s dark brown, but in the sun he’s so pretty. The brown just shines so much to a medium brown. He’s our baby anyways. We gave him h is forever home a couple of years ago. Thank you so much for stopping by! HUGS

I haven’t heard of The War On Drugs group before now, so it’s a nice introduction and the few tunes you share makes me want to check out more by this band. I’ll head over to YT after I leave here. I hear why Granny thought TWOD sounded a bit like Bob Dylan. They have similar styles of singing. The best way I can describe it is to say it’s like their too lazy to open their mouths to sing.
