You bring back nice memories of the four years I spent living in rural Arkansas. We owned chickens, ducks and geese; one neighbor raised pigs and the other sheep. Enjoyed hearing the songs especially “Spike”, a Tom Petty song I wasn’t familiar with.

Binky,
A farmer’s life is a hard one. I think a person has to really love doing that kind of work. My aunt’s husband is a farmer and I have a good penpal who I manage to keep up with at least once a year who’s husband is a dairy farmer. I can’t imagine having to get out in all kinds of weather to take care of farm animals or not being able to get away for the weekend or longer because of this huge responsibility. I’m so thankful God has placed the desire in the hearts of those who keep America feed by working the land. I liked your mewsic picks for this week’s Farm Aid theme.
