Monday Mewsic Moves Me on a Happy Tuesday

Hi (Furry)furriends💗

We finally had some dry weather…

yesterday…

only about two hours…

but we decided to grab that moment

to clean up the garden a little…

and prune a few trees

…until the rain sets in…

then I remembered that it was also

time for my weekly

bloghop…

that is co-hosted this month by

Athena and Mary

and the theme they chose for March:

“Fun Facts about names day”

so while I help Granny with the mess…branches…

we all can listen to my playlist…

with a Name in it…

mmm..that smells sounds good…

The Cure – A Letter to Elise (1992)

Toto – Melanie (1999)

Goo Goo Dolls – Iris (1998)

Rolling Stones – Lady Jane (1966)

Sutherland Brothers & Quiver – Arms of Mary (1976)

and here’s one funny thing about Granny’s name…

she was named after…

…her…

Marlene Dietrich – Lily Marleen (1945)

she’s probably almost as old too

and I was named after a project…

a snarky puppy…

and…

I can’t tell…

this is so embarrassing…🙈

A Doormat – R.E.M. (1996)

…Really?..

🎵🎶💃Have a wonderful day everyone🕺🎶🎵

Marlene Dietrich – Lili Marleen is such a historic gem of World War II. The Cure and the early Rolling Stones was well worth the listen. Thank you for this selection, and thank you for helping your owner out with her gardening.

    Binky,

Oh my am I ever LATE! A thousand pawkisses to you, my lil furriend. I got side track working on my art for next month. Yeah bad excuse but it is what is and I fear I’ll make more goofs like this leading straight up to April.

Your first video, “A Letter To Elise”, won’t play on your blog but does at YT. I hate that happens to the ones I pick out. I can’t believe I haven’t heard this song before now, though. Elise is our youngest daughter’s middle name. 🙂 “Melaine” is an introduction also. After our first kiddo was born (1988) I lost track of what played on the radio.

I think it’s fun to learn about why someone is given a name. You and Granny have stories to share. Me? Nope, nothing to offer. My late Grandma always told me I was named after her good friend Cathleen but when I asked my mom why she named me Cathy, she says she can’t remember. I have to admit, I don’t have a story for why we named our kids the names we gave them, except for our son who’s named DH’s dad (first name) and has his middle name. Our girls, we just went with what we liked the sound of and in retrospect I wished we had given them other names with a family connection that would mean more to them in the long run. Of course they’d probably would hate us for that if we did. lol In the end the names we settled on were quite popular at the time of their births.

Thanks for joining me on the dance floor, darlin’ furriends. Have a great weekend! 😘

Mum loves Marlene Dietrich, the rest are good but she doesn’t know those artists and songs. (Old fashioned I think!) High paw and love licks.

Wonderful to hear all that great music. Now could you put our address below in permanently so we don’t have to fill it out every time? Some blogs can do that but not all. I’ll check to see if mine does it.

I wish I could do that, LouLou, but I don’t know how. We have the same purroblem with some blogies too, also with yours, but we found out that when we use the phone we don’t have to fill inn the address and when we use for those bloggies another browser also not. Try it please. I know how annoying it can be🙈 😸Pawkisses🐾😽💞
