A Poetic Thankful Thursday

Hi (Furry)furriends💗

I’m

T H A N K F U L

for the flowers in my garden…

and everything that’s hiding in there…

and their scent…

Granny is

T H A N K F U L

for herbs she planted two years ago

in a pot

that spread themselves over a few places

in the garden

where THEY wanted to be…

and the pot is

T H A N K F U L

for being empty again…MOL…

The Snail was

T H A N K F U L

for the baby-leaves of the sweet peppers

Granny planted this week…

so now there’s only two of them left…

Granny is

T H A N K F U L

that they don’t like the tomato plants…

so they can grow properly

into tomatoes…

A part of the whole family Snail

were

T H A N K F U L

for the furresh

Cosmos…

when they heard that the flowers

were edible…

…although they liked the leaves too…🙄

…and the birdies are

T H A N K F U L

for the family snails

so we can be

T H A N K F U L

for the empty shell to use it

for decoration…or so…

Isn’t it wonderful

how everything is working together

and that we all can be thankful for each other…

even if we are different from the outside…

of course there is so much more

we can be thankful for

but it’s time for some Poetry now

with my furriend Angel Sammy

and this weird week’s picture…

“Sometimes when I’m lazy

it seems that the world is getting crazy

the houses seem to be on a mission

because your focus is out of condition…

it seems that they start to live their own lives

and even think they can survive

all the craziness they are thrive…

but when you stick to the picture

and blink the blurry of your eyes

and put your focus together

then you’ll see

that it didn’t really matter…

because there’s so much more to be

than that house that flew free

and besides

it wasn’t me but Granny.”

The flowers are pretty. We get more slugs than snails, and they keep eating my strawberries as they ripen.
    That was a fun poem.

That was a great poem and I love the photo you contributed. I have never seen a snail around, that is a nice collection 🙂 Sorry about the peppers though. XO

Seems like a lot is going on in your garden these days. Jackie spends a lot of times in the garden as well, but unlike you, she never tells us about it 😃.
    Have a wonderful Thankful Thursday!

Yes, everything works together in nature, but I’m not a big fan of snails, probably because I’m not a bird. 🙂 You do have such pretty flowers in your garden, Binky. xx

Mom and I are a little scared of the snails. We are sad for the peppers, but excited for the tomatoes! Good luck!

    Love and licks,

The garden is so beautiful and we hope your snail visitors don’t eat everything – they are little piggies aren’t they!! What a wonderful time everyone had with that Photo Blooper of Granny’s this week for Poetic Thursday – your poem is fabulous and the others we’ve read this morning are too. I knew it would be a FUN ONE for a poem!!
Hugs to you and Granny……from me and Mom

You can be thankful you get to be out in the garden too. Mom is not a fan of snails, but we never see them around our house. Enjoy your pretty flowers and plants.
