Hi (Furry)furriends💗
I’m
T H A N K F U L
that the Sun was shining today…
and yesterday…
and that the temperatures rose to 21°C…(69.80F)
so no more cold behinie
while I watch the mousies and birdies…
lots of birdies…
Granny is
T H A N K F U L
for the one…and only…
paprika…
that already was eaten by some critters…
but she still was
T H A N K F U L
that this one showed up…
and she’s
T H A N K F U L
for this whatever-it-is-plant…
that has made himself some fine
artichoke-a-like flowers/vegetables/fruits…
after more than six years that we have it…
If someone of you know what this plant is
we sure would like to hear it…
…I give you an Extra Pawkiss for it…
I think I have to put in some action now
before we all fall asleep in the Rays of the Sun
that’s shining down on me…
So here’s the picture that Angel Sammy and Teddy
brought in
for their weekly Poetry hop…
Granny has one good memory on this one
in her younger years…
so let’s see what she told me…

High school girls bowl (1950).
“One day in the youth of my Granny
she went bowling with her furriends
in the valley
the boy she had a crush on that day
was trying to impurress her
in a very strange way
he picked up the bowling ball
jumped up high
and a made a fall
and that didn’t impurressed her
at all
and she started to laugh
on that strange behavior
and thought
that one will never be my savior.”

I luv your garden, and you can eat some of it too! 🙂
Hahah… He was never going to be Granny’s saviour! Hahaha
I am so busy, Binky. I am preparing for the first presentation of ABC of Spirit Talk at a local Inner Health Centre. Such fun!

Yeah, we were very lucky, Norman, Elza and Monika, but now the fun is over, lots of rain and wind😸Pawkisses🐾😽💞
Oct 23, 2020 @ 17:35:26
That’s a very nice paprika! I don’t think I’ve ever seen one before.
Oct 28, 2020 @ 10:37:03
It was very small, but so COOL😸Pawkisses🐾😽💞
Oct 23, 2020 @ 16:14:12
I love that poem, Binky, and methinks the plant is a bit strange! 😬😻
Oct 28, 2020 @ 10:36:33
It’s full of surpurrizes, Eugenia…MOL😸Pawkisses🐾😽💞
Oct 23, 2020 @ 15:36:13
I asked Mr. Google about that plant and he said Japanese Camellia, but I really don’t think he is right. It does look like some sort of artichoke though.
The rain has stopped and the sun is out now, but it is only 10C.
Oct 28, 2020 @ 10:36:10
Thanks for helping me searching, Jackie😸Pawkisses🐾😽💞
Oct 23, 2020 @ 14:49:09

Love and licks,
Cupcake

This one was really annoying, Cupcake. Love was over real quick…MOL😸Pawkisses🐾😽💞

I tried to identify your mystery plant, but came up with nothing that seemed correct. Do if the plant is a perennial, may be next year a garden professor can help you! That I am not:)
MOL!
What a fun poem from a funny memory! My gutter balls would not save anyone either…
We started our day with plenty of dark cloiuds and rain, but later in the afternoon. the sun shone gloriously! Alas *she* was at her work, so she showed the bright rays to the peeps she was caring for, and they loved seeing the sunshine. It does help their moods/minds a lot to see a blue sky and sunshine.
Oct 23, 2020 @ 10:52:05
Thanks for trying to guess that plant anyway, Pipo. The garden professors don;t know it either, yet….but we’ll keep on searching. You’ll get and Extra Pawkiss anyway for trying to find it😸Extra Pawkisses for all of you🐾😽💞
Oct 23, 2020 @ 06:54:32
I’m glad you’re getting some warm weather, Binky 🙂 I must admit, I’ve never thought of paprika as a plant, just a powder!
