Summer is over

Hi (Furry)furriends💗

Granny…

you have to come quick…

it looks like it’s going to rain again

soon…

see…

the birdies have taken their place already…

and one of the babies

garden furriends…

tells me that it’s coming from

that direction…

he says that we have to harvest all some of my nip

very quick…

before another cloudburst

washes away everything…

like it did two days ago…

when we had no internet

and no electricity anymore

in the very early morning…

I hear you birdie…

you can sh…up stop now…

we’re going to harvest…

very quick…

but first we have to unwind

Cinderella’s carriage…

that Granny had to make

because I couldn’t let go of

all of my nip…

that overgrown the whole garden…

to pleasure the bumble bees…

and the other Bumble bee…

Let me help you

munching all those goodies…

but it’s hard work…

I better stop to tell you

what I’m

T H A N K F U L

for

before the rain brings me and my basket

into another story…

Anyways…

I’m

T H A N K F U L

for the LadyBugs

that decided to come back…

after the ant invasion…

that almost killed all our plants

in the garden…

Granny treated the plants,

soil and the Ants

with Homeopathic Remedies…

and they moved out of their environment

with their eggs…🙀

and left a battlefield behind…

then they settled down in another part of our garden…

where Granny treated the soil and plants again

and again…and again…

then the ants put up the white flag

and left the building…

in another pot…

that Grandpaw and Granny brought

into the woods on the other side…

and for the first time

since a few weeks

it’s very quiet in the garden…

the roses can breathe again…

and a LadyBug was climbing up to take care

of the roses

and God’s other creatures

that were hanging in there…MOL…

Granny says

it was hard work

every day…

and you have to be very patience

because natural healing doesn’t work so quickly

as other poisoned stuff…

but patience is always rewarded

and worth it…

of course there are still ants in our garden…

but not an overdose

like it was before…

beside that

they are very valuable in the garden

because they can dig like no other…

under the ground…

to keep the ground airy…

So that means that my leftover nip

will grow fast again…

so that makes me very

T H A N K F U L

for the ants too…

O, no…

the birdie is telling us that it is coming…

Holey Maloley…

I better go inside to show a few

Photo fails…

of me lying behind the windows…

I don’t know what Granny was thinking

when she took this one…

here she captured all the rainbows…

see…

beautiful huh…

especially the colours…

Better close my eyes

to do my poem

instead of looking at the rain…

“The evening has just begun

just wait a minute

and we can have some fun

with some beer, or Scottish Pine,

maybe an extraordinary wine

or some water from the pipeline…

wouldn’t that be fine?

There’s choise enough

for everyone

to have a lot of fun

but it’s not only for the booze

there’s so much more te choose

to have a good time

without a glass of wine.”

🌸🌹📚Have a Wonderful Thursday my furriends📚🌹🌸

🙏Stay Safe Healthy and Yourselfie🙏

That bird sounds kind of like an overexplainer, Binky. But he’s right … here comes the rain! Glad to hear a lot of those ants went away!

Thank goodness Granny was relentless with the ants. She wore them down with her determination. There are some ants on our balcony. Mom isn’t sure what to do about them. She is often less than homeopathic….

My goodness…your nip was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! But not to be outdone by the roses which are also exceptional. Clearly your Granny knows just what to do to keep everything looking beautiful and healthy.

We have a lot of gnats this summer. So, we put apple cider vinegar and honey in a jar with plastic wrap over it, poked some holes in the plastic wrap, and voila – it works! Enjoy your nip sweet Binky!

The weather has been crazy and did lots of damage in Germany, where my mum comes from. Glad your Granny was so patient and see – all ants moved out. Well done. Enjoy your catnip, it looks great. Hopefully Summer wil come as a nice summer. Much love from Thomas and mum xxx

Oh what a GREAT poem Binky! Well done! You’re right of course that peeps can have a good time even without the booze – after all – WE KITTIES know how to have fun without it……although we do need our nip. Yours looks so cool in that “cinderella’s carriage”!! Ants are evil – we found a huge nest by our back deck and Dad got out the ant spray to get rid of them…..This has been a BIG YEAR for bugs here. Stay safe!

    Hugs, Teddy

We’ve noticed a huge number of ants this year too! They’ve even found figs high up in our tree 😦 Glad to see the nip is still doing well, it’s the one plant that’s allowed to take over a garden 😀

Binky your bird friend seems to be more accurate at predicting the weather than all the humans with their computers and satellites. We are glad Granny was able to help the garden recover in a way that is safe for the earth and the animals – and your beautiful nip. Stay dry and stay cool !

That is a lot of dark rain clouds, and your Granny captured them so nicely for you! That birdie sure would make a good weatherman…um, weatherbird! And such a pretty rainbow, the promise of God for His creation.
Glad the ant invasion has been conquered.
I enjoyed your poem, too! Ah…a nice pub…to have whatever your heart desires in the liquid form…Earth-Ale and maybe some Adam’s-Ale for me pawlease.
