Thankful… Effurry Day

Hi (Furry)furriends💗

Are you there my furriends?

I can’t see you nor hear you

but I can feel that you are there…

somewhere…

and I’m still here too…😸

…Thank Cat…

I’m only aging now…

besides that

there’s nothing wrong with me…

no high bloodpurressure…

…just a little ‘under purressure’ in the beginning

of my new normal…🙈🙉

…Aargh…

and just a little more pee…

for what I’m being treated…

and as I still eat a lot

I have a good stool too…💩

Granny and I still make our rounds…

we still do effurrything together…

the only difference is…

that I have to follow her

instead the other way around…

but now I can find my way more easily

through the house and the garden…

so maybe I can lead her again soon…

she also barricaded the whole house

with all her my stuffed animals

…and other softies…

so that I won’t hurt myself

*whispurrs*

…and being called BamBam in the future…

Granny is around me the whole time

and when she’s not

I call for her…

and even if I can’t hear anymore what she says

I understand her…

I also answer her when we’re talking…

I believe that’s the magical bond we have…

One way or the other…

Life’s good…

we both have more Peace with the situation…

only sometimes I feel that Granny is very sad

when she sees me just sitting and staring into nothing…

but then I remind her that I’m almost one hundred years…young…

and that her Granny

sat in a wheelchair in the end

and she was even ten years younger than me…

old age sometimes comes with setbacks

that’s just the way it is…

…sometimes…

and besides…

yesterday I almost caught myself a mousie…

he ran past me

but I scented him immediately…

I didn’t know that he ran past me again

about four times more while I was sitting there…😹

that mousie was very lucky…. wasn’t he?

next time he won’t be so lucky…

at least

that’s the plan…😸

now I only have to dream that there’ll be a next time…

until then

I’ll dream on…MOL…

and now I want to tell you what I’m

T H A N K F U L

for

💗for ALL OF YOU💗

and all of your replies and repeated replies on my bloggie…

and emails that you sent me…

and especially for the beautiful badges

from Ann of Zoolatry

and Ingrid of Meezers Mews & Terrieristical Woofs

we couldn’t post them earlier than now…

…sorry for that…

it brought to many tears to Granny’s eyes…

not only of the goodness of you all…

but also because she had a hard time

looking at my pictures

and knowing how unfair life sometimes is…

because we all want the best

when it gets less…right?

Now let me concentrate on my poem

that I try to do effurry week

for my furriends Angel Sammy and Teddy

😻I really missed you all guys😻

“Who are you fooling little boys

that’s not the way

you play your toys

a car is a car

and not a horse

so don’t rear

to make it worse

but stop now and unhorse

otherwise you have to deepdive

in your own purse

well

at least you had some fun

and that’s the best

for effurryone.”

😻📚Have a wonderful weekend my furriends📚😻

🙏Stay Safe Healthy and Yourselfie🙏

Ah, Granny…we all must deal with aging…if we live long enough.
Bless your hearts – the bond remains strong in this life, unbreakable in the next.

Binky…tender love and care is the best medicine. You and your staff have created a most wonderful and safe place for you to continue to be Queen of The Garden.

Dearest, darling little Binky, We have been thinking about you effurry day and wondering how you are coping. We are thankful you have managed to adjust to the new normal. It’s so good that you can still feel the warm sunshine on your furs, and enjoy the flowers and and sense the cheeky mousie as s/he brushes past your whiskers – and maybe s/he won’t be so lucky next time, because you will continue to adapt and then you will catch that mousie. Meanwhile, you and Granny continue to look after each other and know that We all love you and your Granny so furry, furry much.

Charlee: “Aww, Binky, we’re glad to hear you are still such a happy kitty.”
Chaplin: “We know your Granny is taking very good care of you.”
Charlee: “And yes, that is one lucky mouse! At least for now!”
Chaplin: “Maybe it will start to get overconfident and come too close and then he will be yours!”

Dear Binky and Grams, I love you to bits. Lucky you can use your whiskers and nose to know the mousy runs around you. You have always taken the lead and now Grams love to show you the way. Glad the rest of your body is still working and in a healthy state. Lots of love to all of you.

It’s so wonderful to see you, Little B. Yay! Although you can’t see me, I will tell you I am as cute as ever. And so are you. I think those mousies had better not get over-confident. Their days are numbered as you get more and more accustomed to the new ways to do things. Mom wrote a book about a blind boy and he got better and better at doing all the things his classmates did with very little help. Meanwhile, Granny has your back, so we will not worry too much about you. I love you. Stay brave!

    Love and licks,

You really are one of the most beautiful kitties we know and that photo of you sleeping brought tears to our eyes, But wait! You are eating and your pee is helped by something (I peed outside my box for quite a time before getting jabbed…don’t feel alone) and is that a step stool you mentioned, haha…in French it’s called besoin, a “necessary”…well, they are right about THAT! Love from us here who amore you and your granny. You are growing old so gracefully..hope we’ll do the same…

Dearest Binky – YES we are all here – with you always and forever. You are part of us and we are part of you. Your Granny has made your house and yard comfortable for you and she is your “eyes and ears” now. Your Granny is sad because she wants you to be safe and happy and she knows it’s a very big adjustment for you to have such big changes happen. But we all know that you are strong and determined to stay in sun puddles and smell the flowers and follow Granny as long as you can.
Love and hugs, Teddy and Mom Pam xxoo

It is lovely to hear from you and Granny, Little Binky. Animals adapt so much better than humans to their disabilities, and with Granny to help you, you are doing very well. I am glad you are able to still enjoy your garden, and that mouse had better beware! Lots of love to you both.
