The Most Chaotic Christmas Ever

Hi (Furry)furriends💗

We are helping Granny again today…

she is so behind with effurrything…

that we decided to help her

to flatten the laundry…

Stippie makes sure

that the scent is exceptional…

and that it all hangs as straight

as possible…

he has his eye on it constantly…

and I have my eye on him

to make sure that he doesn’t fall asleep

and let me do all the hard work…

I’m sure Granny is happy and

for us

and we’re all very

for the wonderful Christmas cards

we had received from all of you…

by (snail)mail and some we grabbed from the blogs…

we didn’t had time to visit all of you

…sorry for that…

so maybe we have forgotten

a few…or a lot…

but if you can’t see your card in our collage

don’t feel neglected

we haven’t done that on purrpose…

this Christmas was very chaotic

and the weather was bad bad bad…

the only day that Granny and Grandpaw

could get out

was the 10th of December…

when she was looking for somewhere to go

she saw that there was the yearly

Scrooge Festival

in our part of the Country…

she hesitated because it was very cold

and you never knew when it was going to rain…

and have an icerink on the streets…

but when she left the room

and came back

there was a sign of sweet Angel Binky

as if she was saying:

“You better go now…

it’s the first day after my passing

that you can go out…

so you better go now

while I take care of the youngsters”

so they went to that Old Scrooge…

and if they didn’t know better…

it felt like they went back into time…

even Granny’s broom was ready to fly…MOL…

and there were a lot of geese…

I like geese…

they’re cute and docile

like Stippie and me

and this is how she remembered her youth too…

when her Grandmother was doing the laundry…

even we know all about it…MOL…

Granny is very

that they finally had the opportunity

to go out for a half day…

she’s also happy that she found

the right size photo frame

for the card painting that her furriends

Monika, Norman and Elsa

made for her…

on Auntie Binky’s passing…

seeing Angel Binky and Angel Sam together

at the rainbowbridge

makes her smile

and weepy

at the same time…

but she’s more than

for the kind gesture💗

Stippie we have to do the poem now…

for our furriends Angel Sammy and Teddy…

are you ready for it?

it isn’t wrong

when the cleaning can’t be done

sometimes you just feel

a little immobeele

after being outside for a half day

but you mustn’t expect that it goes away

with one paw click

as we might to say

but there’s always tomorrow

or just another day

and maybe we’re going to help you

or just walk away…😹

you can come out now

effurrything is well flattened…

so let’s do our artwork

and puzzle together

while Granny cleans the dishes…🙈

📚🎨Have a wonderful Caturday my furriends🎨📚

It was so nice of Angel Binky to leave Granny a sign that she should go out to the Scrooge Festival – which looks like a lot of fun. And it was furry good of your two to help her with the household chores.
And last – but not least – what a lovely poem!

What great heklpers you are, Peachy and Stippie! We are so happy that Angel Binky gave Granny and Grandpaw a sign to go and enjoy the Scrooge Festival. It looks like it was lots of fun — we liked the geese and the brooms, especially. Hugs! XO

“Scrooged” has become my favourite version of the tale; I love irreverence!
Excellent job of flattening and sniffing the laundry; your Angel sisfur was pleased with you.

Sometime could Granny put in a closer-up picture of the card her friends made to honor Binky ? We can’t see it very well even when we try to enlarge it. Thanks you and purrs.

The Scrooge Festival sounds like a ton of fun! So sweet that you kids stayed home safe and sound and were well-behaved while Granny and Grandpaw got out for a while.
    Love and licks,

You are truly busy helping cats. That Festival looks quite fun. The brooms are super! I need one like that. If the weather is not good it is no fun going out. I like to hibernate in Winter for a month or so….. I would love that. 🙂

Aww, your Granny is too sweet for hanging up our card-that was very sweet. Thank you. We’re always thinking of you and hope the tears fall less often (unless they are tears of joy). Hugs and tail wiggles from me and the Ranch Hands (and also Sam’s spirit).

Goodness, Stippie and Peachy! What good work you did– and it was exactly what was needed. I have rarely seen such flattened laundry, And it is like it was ironed by the warmth of your furs! All that help in the kitchen while your Auntie Binky watched over you and kept you safe was a wonderful gift to Granny and Grampaw! My mom said she wishes so much that she could have gone to the Scrooge Festival too. While she spent about three years in Europe, and even had her first son while there, she didn’t get to Holland. That was always sad as she really wanted to go. Today looking at the pictures was like stepping back into the past and getting to go! Thank you, Stippie and Peachy. XOX to you.

You both worked very hard helping with the chores. The Scrooge market looks like a lot of fun. Your art is lovely, and thanks for the puzzle.

Oh my!! Stippie and Peachy it’s very nice of you to help Granny with chores at home…..especially if the weather is so bad they have to be at home and not out enjoying a nice day. FINALLY they did – and they went to the Scrooge Festival which sounds like a LOT of fun!!! A trip back to the past – we especially love the brooms. As for signs of love from Angel Binky – they will always and forever come because Angels are always with us and they like to have fun with us – and remind us they are there to love us forever. Your poem was really PERFECT too!

    Hugs and Pawkisses, Teddy
