Look what we got…
and look what we ignored in the first place…
a shuffleboard…
come out of your tent, Stippie…
I don’t wanna play alone…
look it’s fun…
you can get them out
from the shuffleboard
and shuffle them all around the house…😹
but then
someone has to bring them back…
and that someone must be you…
but as you don’t wanna play
I better throw them back inside…
myself…
and wait until the disks
come rolling in themselves…
maybe you can slide them
towards me…

so you can practice a little…
while I’m telling you what we are
T H A N K F U L
for…
…definitely for this shuffleboard…
that we like to hang out in
play with a lot…
…sometimes…
and for Granny…
that she plays with us too…
so we’re having a lot of quality time
together…
also our twofeet uncles and auntie
like to have a great time with us…
and they’re doing a great job
when they rol the disks on the side
to the goals…
so Stippie and I can knock them out over…
not the kids though…🙈
it’s just the way
we like it best…

“Effurry year
in Summer sharp
there’s a festival
in the park
for three days in a row
the bands playing live
not audio
we can hear them
from afar
cause it’s very near
were they are
our city will get crowdier
for these coming days
and effurry one leaves their marks
around our place
they don’t care where they stay
as long as they don’t have to go away
to miss effurrything
they say
Granny is awaiting
for this year
because one of her favourite bands
will be playing here
she hopes that the wind is turning around
right into the garden
where you can hear their greatest sound.”

Oh, wow, we had one of those Sjoelbak(s) at home growing up!
Sjoelen was a fun time we had, often, of an evening. My parents gave it away,. but I would have loved to have it here…sigh…
Often our church would have a game night and the Sjoelen was a popular area to compete in.
Looks like you kitties are enjoying it too:)
That is a fab poem! We had our parental home near a fairgrounds, and we could hear a lot of the goings on there, esp at night, when all the traffic noises would calm down.
Play on, Stippie and Peachy. Play a game for us, too, us pups would take a puck and run with it…a fun thing to chew…oops.

I LOVE THAT! To be honest, I thought you were gonna be talking ’bout some kinda dance but shufflin’ those pieces all ’round the house sounds like the most wonderful game, for sure. Wish I could teleport on over and play that game with you! purrs
Now ’bout the notices for my blog you asked about. The subscription service I used to use went bust, I think, or somethin’ like that. I do post every Wednesday and Sunday (sometimes it’s late in the day and you’re several hours ahead so Thursday and Monday would be better for you) so you can always Google Nerissa’s Life on those days and if you go to the main blog, the new post will be first in line. But not gettin’ notices ’bout those posts is a royal pain, to be sure. May I ask what subscription service you use, ’cause I get e-mail notices ’bout yours. PURRS

OMC, we also don’t get emails anymore from some blogger blogs since a few months now, Seville and it’s very frustrating. We had to set the subscription in our purrsonal settings and then the emails follow automatically. We think it’s a WordPress thingie😺
