1. An item discontinued that I want brought back is…
this melon
…that I inherited from Auntie Angel Binky…
I still have it and still play with it…
but one day Granny accidentally stood on it
because she didn’t saw it
…as it was under her feet…duh…🙄
and then we all heard a loud ‘crack’
and the bell inside was broken…
She knew this melon is very valuable to me
as I still drag it effurrywhere around…
and she had tears in her eyes
when she looked on the computer
all over the world
to find a new melon…
she found a lot of melons like this
but none of them has a bell inside of it…
so after a while she found a mousey with a bell…
and bought us a few of that…
but it doesn’t have the same effect on me…
I still grab my melon
to play with…

2. I would DANCE every day if I (still) could.
I loved to dance on any kind of music
ever since I was a kid…
from Ballet to Mellow House,
60ties, 70ties, 80ties
soca,
you name it… I dance it…
in the photo-fail-pictures we had a tap-dance performance on
Happy Feet in a Theater back in 2008…
Dancing was my outlet for everything
but about 10 years ago I got more and more problems with my feet
what turned out to be two bad sagged forefeet…
and besides that
my skin got skinner more and more
so sometimes when I walk it feels like I walk on bones…🍖
🦶🦶my own bones that is…🦶🦶
so besides a little wiggle waggle on my chair
and maybe a turnaround in the house
no more dancing for this old girl…
but I would give the world to get back my Happy Feet
and dance along😸

3. It’s almost time for dinner, and I can’t wait.
Granny makes sure
that we don’t get empty tummies…
and as we are big eaters
we’re always hungry…
once I ate what I needed
I’m satisfied…
Peachy on the other hand
never is…
he tries to steal Granny and Grandpaw’s food
from the table…
while I’m waiting that it comes to me…MOL…

What a beautiful post, especially of Granny dancing. I used to dance too but now I dance only to exercise. I looked at cat toys on Amazon and didn’t find a melon with a bell but there are a lot of fun and squeaky toys available for cats. Hugs!💞

We love your artwork, and how neat to see Granny dancing! We’re sorry her feet are not up to doing so anymore, though. We are also sad the melon you inherited from Angel Binky is discontinued. Could Granny maybe open the seam of the melon toy, replace the bell, and sew it back up? XO

Our huMom is getting old to and can’t walk as good – or as fast – as she used to. You both do the best you can.
Mayve Granny could find a small bell at a craft store and sew it into your melon – but no matter you will stillhave Angel Binky’s love and memories wvery time you play with it !

How wonderful to see Granny dancing tap, I love it as much as seeing you. I even rcognize the steo in the second picture, I do that one too.
I just had a break as i moved, but I am looking for a new tap school to do a bit more. It is fabulous, and I do hope you still dance around at home in the kitchen etc to good music.

Oh my! First of all we love your long postie……we’re sorry about your melon but I understand that PURRFECTLY as I was very sad when my white mousie fell apart. We love certain things MORE than other things – that’s just life. My Mom also says like your Granny she used to love to dance but her bones ache now and her feet hurt and she just THINKS about dancing now and remembers when she could. You boys look wonderful in your photos – you’re growing bigger and bigger – do you think you will get to be as big as me?

We were sorry to read that granny’s feet aren’t dancing like they used to but we know that y’all have a happy loving home which makes adjustments to changes so much easier. We love the photos and hope one day, in addition to the squeaky mouse, granny finds a squeaky melon. Many pawkisses this winter Sunday. ❤️🐾
