Hi (Furry)furriends💗
We had such a busy week
that we hardly had time to take a breezer…
first we had to do a lot of shopping…
and replenish the groceries…
then we had to sew the badges
onto the shirts
for our twofeet Scouts
…the niece and nephew…
which was a lot of work
because they both got new blouses
AND new badges…
not the soft ones, but the ones
that you hardly get through with your needle…
…so Granny couldn’t feel her fingertips anymore
after the work was done…🙈
the day after
Granny had to puppysit our
smells-not-like-us nephew…
and she had to pick up eldest Grandson
a few times from work…
as he had an accident on Granny’s bike
a few weeks ago…
he was avoiding a hedgehog
that suddenly crossed over the road
while he was driving down the hill…🦔
Thank Cat he wasn’t injured to badly
but the bike was…
but we really don’t care about that
…it could have turned out differently
you know🙀🙈
but he rose from the fall quickly
and grabbed the hedgehog
to put him into another direction
so that he wouldn’t get run over by a car
after all….🙈
and we had to pick a lot of the rotten grapes
that were hanging in the gazebo…
and smelled like…err…
a drunken sailor…
or so…
this year was not the best year for our grapes
with all the weather fluctuations
especially the late Summer
and the amount of rain and cold in our Country
were not conductive
to a good harvest…
but that’s nothing new
it happens all the time…
…one year isn’t the same as another…
at least the butterflies and other critters
have a lot to consume…
and we still have enough too…
so we have nothing to complain about…
maybe except that we still have to harvest them😸

and now we have to work on our poem
for our furriends Angel Sammy and his brother Teddy…
we hope that we still can get in
as we’re very late…
but we’re
T H A N K F U L
that we’re here today…
and let’s not forget our artwork and puzzle
for effurryone who still likes
to put all the pieces together again😸

Well done to grandson for saving the hedgehog! Your poem is lovely. granny has been very busy. It has been busy here as well. Ivor had cataract surgery on Tuesday and there was a big delay. Instead of getting home around noon, it was 6pm. Then we found the electric had tripped out so had to find the problem. The motor on the huge freezer in the barn was overheating, so next morning I had to go with our neighbour to get another one. Ivor is not allowed any heavy lifting for 4 weeks so I had to bring everything up from the barn to put in the new freezer in the garage. Thankfully our neighbour helped me do that. We owe him big time!

That WAS a busy week! Thank goodness the eldest grandson is OK after the hedgehog rescue! I’m sure the hedgehog is grateful as well…

I am grateful to the eldest grandson for his kindness, but I am sorry too that he was injured as was the bicycle. You two boys just make my mom so happy to see you. I don’t even feel jealous! I swoon too when I see you.

That is a WONDERFUL SPARK! We love it – with a very very good lesson for humans and kitties too….we all have a powerful lion inside of us we can call on when we need strength and courage! Well, thank heaven for eldest grandson!!! And how kind of him to save the hedgehog. How lucky you are to have then…such darlings. And you sweet kitties seem to have a lot to take care of and we love how you are DOING IT…(a sweet rest in the garden always solves everything). The grapes looked good to mama, even if they aren’t as good as some years.
