Hello’s and Goodbye’s

Hi (Furry)furriends💗

Peachy,

do you remember

last year…

…yes…

of course I do…

even if we were little then

we made a lot of furriends on the blog

didn’t we…

…yes we did…

but we also lost a lot of faithful furriends…

that was the hardest part of that year…

…it always is…

but Thank Cat we have beautiful memories

of all the peeps and animals…

that we treasure furrever💞

and we’re more than

T H A N K F U L

for the time they all spent with us

on this planet…

we’re very grateful for that

…always…

💞

and now let’s put in some mewsic

for this week’s Theme:

Bye Bye’s

and New Beginnings…

Wave the Old World Goodbye – Simply Red (1999)

Never say Goodbye – Bon Jovi (1986)

New Year’s Day – BonJovi (2016)

A Life of Illusion – Joe Walsh (1981)

A New Day has come – Céline Dion (2002)

Enjoy the Silence – Depeche Mode (1989)

and while we Enjoy the Silence…

we can concentrate on our poem

for our furriends Angel Sammy and Teddy…

with this picture…

“Quick open your mouth

to catch all the snowflakes

that coming around

but don’t stand there to long

just in a second they may be gone

grounded into snow

that’s where they always go

while you still stand there

getting all wet

and probably also

with a stiff neck.”

We’re also very

T H A N K F U L

for the most beautiful sign

of our purrecious Angel Binky…

…when Granny undressed the Christmastree

and took off Angel Binky’s Christmasglobe…

she said

…next year you will get a nice spot

on the Christmastree again, Binky…

and then the globe began to snow…

it never snowed inside of the globe anymore

since years…

and then she told Grandpaw

and shook the globe to show him

that it didn’t had snow in it anymore…

✨so this was really magical✨

📚✨Have a Happy Furriday my furriends✨📚

🙏Stay Safe Healthy and Yourselfie🙏

Last year was a very hard year and losses were far too frequent. We are hoping 2024 is much kinder, gentler. Love your musical selections.

Oh, Peachy and Stippie, your post, with the remembrances of he friends who have gone to the Bridge, and the look forward, is so beautiful. We loved that Angel Binky’s globe snowed again. Her loving spirit is still with you (and all of us). XO

Granny undressed your Christmas tree? Ours is still up. Peepers says it has to be up for Little Christmas to TECHNICALLY it could come down tomorrow. Watch it still be up on Valentine’s. MOUSES!

Always sad to see so many kitties become angels. My Emmy was one of the first last year. Great job on the poem and I like your music choices. XO

The turning of the year is a time to miss and remember so many friends…what a nice gesture of Angel Binky to send some snow to let you know she is still with you all.

Happy New Year to you all. Enjoyed your selection. The Enjoy the Silence video was not available here in the United States but no problem; I found it. I love that song so. It can be sad to remember those who left us in 2023. Hoping there are many new friends for 2024. Alana ramblinwitham

Java Bean: “Ayyy, it seems like every year we lose at least a few friends, but some years are definitely worse than others.”
Lulu: “Right, plus this year we lost a human blogger friend.”
Chaplin: “I remember one year we lost two human blogger friends in pretty short order. One of them got hit by a car that crashed into her house! So you never know.”
Charlee: “Of course our worst year for losing friends was 2018 when our own Dennis went away.”
Oona: “All this talk makes Oona sad. Charlee, let’s play chase.”
Charlee: “I don’t really want to be chased right now—”
Oona: “Here Oona comes! IT’S OFF TO THE RACES NOW!!!”

That was certainly Binky moving this snow, real magical. Yes, it was a hard year losing your friends, for us – losing Thomas. He is still with us in spirit and our hearts as Binky is.
I love the beautiful picture you did of our gone friends. It means a lot!
Wishing you all a very happy new year!

Indeed, we lost both two and four legged loved ones last year which was the lowest of the low moments making each one of us sad but like you I’m grateful for the time spent with family and furriends who now live far away. We have fond memories that fill our hearts and warm our souls often when we’re reminded of them. I’m thankful for the visits just outside my window almost daily from the cardinals who offer comfort and sweet remembrance of my daddy. Thank you for sharing your song picks this week. I, especially liked the Bon Jovi track. Have a boogietastic week, furriends! 😽🐾

We are always sad when a friend goes to the Rainbow Bridge but we also know one day we will see them again when it’s our turn to fly away. We have our memories though! We think it’s absolutely WONDERFUL that dear Angel Binky gave you a sign she is always watching over you – and she is you know….she is ALWAYS there – your “permanent angel” !

Sending you hugs and love, Teddy and Mom too
