Hi (Furry)furriends💗

Granny…
why can’t the Christmastree stay
for a little while longer…
not only because she makes my eyes
look like Christmasballs…stunning…

but also because she’s still so beautiful
and besides
she doesn’t stand anybody
in the way…

and we haven’t put our paws on her
…not once…
during the Holidays…

only on her skirt…
but that was just out of curiosity…🙈

come Peachy…

we have to say goodbye to her…

she doesn’t have a root ball
like the other one
in the garden…
that belongs to Angel Binky…

Granny says that we get one
with a root ball too…
but we have to wait untill next Christmas…

but for now…
we have to paw wave her
…Goodbye…

but before we do
we want to tell her how
T H A N K F U L
we are…
that she remained beautiful
for so long…
…see…
now she’s on her way to being recylced
to continue her impawtant work…

and we’re
T H A N K F U L
for another sign
of our purrecious Angel…
and also for the white feather
that fell down on Grandpaw’s shoulder
in a parking garage yesterday afternoon…

and this beautiful Rose…
that unfolded herself

on New Year’s day…
and we’re
T H A N K F U L
for the overdose of catnip…
and last but not least
another mousie🐭
…that was saved again by Granny🙈

…talking about mousies…
we still have to do a poem
for our furriends
Angel Sammy and Teddy
on this picture…

“Thank cat they haven’t caught you
and that you came home save
you really are a hero
and oh so very brave
however
next time we’re going together
I never leave you alone
on your way home
because one thing I believe that’s true
that white feather
could have been from you.”

Wow, that is one gorgeous rose! I didn’t put a tree up this year, I miss the festiveness but with dogs, it’s just too crowded and would require too much furniture moving. I will stick with a bouquet of evergreens and holly berries on the dining room table. Easy to handle.

Oona: “You boys have more self control than Oona does! Oona would have been up that tree and down it and up it and down it and up it and down it—”Charlee: “We get the idea.”Oona: “—and up it and down it and …”

Having to say goodbye to the Christmas tree makes you appreciate it all the more when it is here.

It is sad when the Christmas tree has to go. Yours stayed beautiful for a long time. The rose is beautiful too.

It’s always sad to say goodbye to the Christmas tree after the holiday season but yours sure did remain pretty for a long time. That’s amazing! Christmas time will be back before you know it, so don’t despair, little furriends. A rose that bloomed on New Year’s day?! That’s amazing and oh so pretty!

All good things must come to an end.

Your tree did remain SOOOO beautiful through the whole holiday season! And not even a little bit of kitty mischief on it. Amazing! Good job, frens.
Love and licks,
Cupcake

We’re always a little bit sad when our tree goes away for the year, too, Peachy and Stippie. That was a lovely thankful, and we enjoyed your beautiful poem. XO

Stippie and Peachy, you both are great story tellers and also manage to play and interact so well with each other!
That video (4 views) was awful and it shows how much you both enjoyed playing with your catnip.
Hugs,
Mariette + Kitties

Our trees left the house earlier this week. We liked your poem.

MON DIEU…a rose on New Year’s Day WOW. And a beauty at that. What is the name of the rose as mama will be planting in spring again. If you EVER can find Sweet Love, buy it. The best-smelling rose on earth and very hard to find. Mama has made two cuttings. Love the little tree in snow…as beautiful as before and such a perfect shape.

Wow. The mousies are really lucky you live with Granny
Jan 13, 2024 @ 16:59:43
Indeed your tree looks actually still lovely, it is a shame but eventually it will be needling.
Well done for not messing with the tree, my darlings.
Life starts new now in January. So enjoy January and hopefully it is getting warmer soon too. ♥♥♥

As long as you two had a good time!

It is sad when the Christmas Tree goes bye-bye sweeties but now we can look forward to next Christmas. Such a nice thankful. Your poem was really fun too. Thanks for joining Angel Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!

You boys have the sweetest faces in all of the CB. I love seeing those little faces looking up at all of we friends out here who love you. And I am so glad when you share Angel Binky with us too. That little red heart was a perfect sign that she was there.
Jan 13, 2024 @ 14:17:28
Boys! It’s always hard to say goodbye to the Christmas tree…..but I have learned that next year it will be there again for you to enjoy and help decorate – AND like Granny said maybe it can be planted outside like Angel Binky’s tree is in your garden. It’s fun to look forward to Christmas every year and it inspires us to be GOOD since we know Santa only visits GOOD kids and kitties!!
Hugs, Pawkisses and love, Teddy
