it smells like rotten eggs…
I smell more…
can’t we open it again
to see if there are still leftovers inside…

remember Granny told you
that you get the best food of all
so that you don’t have to eat out of the dustbin

better help me clean the sink…
so I can sit for a moment
before I go to the farm shop
to buy eggs, fruit and vegetables…
then I wait here
and make us a cup of tea
when you’re back…
that’s okay…
I’ll be back in a sec…
Yes, I got it all

I’ll ask Peachy to help me unload…
so you can do it in the refrigerator…
almost ready…
just unpacking

now we only have to wait
until dinner has been served…
so that we finally can relax…
as it was a busy day…

and we’re exhausted…
but wait…
we still have to make a poem
for our furriends

My goodness boys you were very busy helping in the kitchen – before AND after your Granny went to the market. No wonder you had to take a BIG nap to recover! I try to be helpful to my Mom too by not carrying toys all over the house and trying not to make a mess in my litterbox. My Mom thinks that cup your Grandpa got for your Granny is absolutely ADORABLE!!!! It is like having an adventure just looking at all the pictures…… We also love your poem – you made us giggle at the end of it.
