Feline Furriday Fill Ins

Hi (Furry)furriends💗

Granny

look what happened tonight…

the squirrel

…the neigbor was talking about…

must have done it…

he also destroyed our lantern…

…the next day…

…so it wasn’t us…

…honestly not…

…how could we…

we were inside

the whole night…

as we’re not aloud to go out

in the evening…

…look at it on the bright side…

we wished we had a squirrel in our garden

and now we have one…

not that we’ve seen him

…and purrobably never will…

but at least he made sure that we noticed him…

…yeah…

you only have to fix effurrything again

…he sure let you know that he was here…🐿

we better start with our fill-ins now…

before we spend all our time

on that unseen squirrel…

…Granny you start…

1. I can focus very well on one subject, but not multitask. When I do something, I do it with full intention and dedication, like, for example, listening to someone, but when I want to make a cup of coffee, in the meantime, I feel like a lost child that doesn’t know what to do anymore. That’s why I make a drink before, or after the talk, so I don’t get confused😄

I like to sleep in bed with Granny, but not all night. When Granny sleeps, I come in bed with my purr engine at its loudest and then I settle myself next to her in her arms, and we both fall asleep with my purr engine still on…and when I have enough of it, I let her sleep and go to sleep…or not… somewhere else😸

I like to play the whole day long, but not always alone. I was born to play, and that’s what I show Granny to do too, because the world is one big playground that you have to enjoy, no matter what. And she loves to play with me and Peachy, I give her no choice, even when she’s feeling down sometimes, I crick her up just like that *snaps paw*…I only have to let her see my jumping skills to bring the child out of her😸

2. Just because I eat my food, doesn’t mean that I’m not hungry anymore🙊 I have a good appetite, and it shows. Once I ate my dinner, I want to eat Stippie’s too, if Granny wasn’t there watching me. After that we make bread for Grandpaw to take to work and I wait as long I can for a lick of butter, because otherwise I take it myself…MOL…😹

Just because I am smaller than Peachy, doesn’t mean that I’m not as strong as him. Peachy always wants to romp around with me, he don’t care if I’m asleep, or just relax, he always challenge me, when I was little I always run away, but now I’m bigger I do the same as him, because I didn’t want to be the underdog all the time anymore😺

Just because I have chosen for Alternative medicines for me, my family and my animals, doesn’t mean that I don’t have respect for physicians….especially not when they also have had a ‘normal’ education as doctor, or vet, before they studied Alternatieve medicine, which takes as long as training as to become a docter. So we get the best from both worlds and I feel very lucky, because we have both of them😄

3. Am I the only one who can wrap their peeps around their paws? Grandpaw always says that to Granny, but he forgets that he’s a victim of me that too😹
Am I the only one who grumbels when I don’t get my favourite food? When I was little, Peachy and I got the same food and we never complained. But the older I become, the more picky I became. I don’t eat chicks anymore, so Granny gave me fish, which I like very much. But now that I’m older, I also have a prefurrence for the type of fish and I want Granny to feed me too…not always, but sometimes. She doesn’t mind, and so don’t I🙈
Am I the only one who can see that my outer world is a reflection of my inner world? I see more and more that life is a mirror of my thinking, consciously and unconciously, and since I know this, I keep analyzing my behaviour, and correct it where it’s needed. It all started 40 years ago, in 1984, when I read my first book of Norman Vincent Peale, The Power of Positive Thinking, that book, or shall I say that man, changed my whole path of life and me from that day on. This was one of the greatest gifts for my Soul✨
4. I used to suck on Granny’s arm, but then I learned to be a big boy and stopped sucking, all by myself😸 I did it since I was born. Granny didn’t care and she let me do it. She knew that when I grew up it would end. She always said, it’s just a phase, once you’re bigger, it stops and she was right. Sometimes I give her a kiss on her arm, because I know that she misses the little baby in me🍼
I used to go wherever Granny goes, but then I learned that I can give her some space too. So now I sometimes let her go alone to the hallway and wait for her in the room and I am more outside now, except when I hear her go upstairs, then I run after her😹
I used to watch television, but then I learned that it isn’t a good contribution to my mental health and quite mind-numbing. So now I only look at movies, or series that make my heart sing, and where I can learn something from and the best of all, I can choose😄
That’s it for now…
we’re a little behind with our posts…
but as we always say…
😺Better late than never😺
😺Exactly😺

😻Have a Wonderful Weekend my furriends😻

🙏Stay Safe Healthy and Yourselfie🙏

The squirrels in our backyard are pretty brave, Peachy and Stippie. It’s probably because Ava is not allowed outside, so they know they are safe. We enjoyed your fill-ins, as always! Hugs!

That is a naughty squirrel. Thank you to all 3 of you for participating in the fill-ins. I enjoy all of your answers. How sweet that Peachy purrs to put Granny to sleep. My Sammy used to do that for me and then Joanie did too. Now none of the cats do that. :( Stippie- I am glad you stand up to your brother. And I am like Granny in only being able to do one thing at a time. I wish we had more alternative med choices near me. XO

You give up your little secrets, great to read. Our squirrel 🐿️ in the garden keeps digging always too. I do find the odd nuts as well in pots. 😊🐿️

A series mama and papa liked was One Day. They wanted to see what young people were watching and it was really a wonderful experience, two friends meeting in different phases of their lives over their lifetimes …very surprising. Great fill-ins you darling kitties and granny.

Oh we believe in “better late than never” too – sometimes things are just too busy to do what was planned – so we do when we CAN no matter what the plan was! Mom says that’s called “go with the flow”. Good job on the fill-ins boys and Granny….we learned a lot about you which is why we think fill-ins are so much fun – don’t you? I hope your visiting squirrel doesn’t mess up Granny’s garden too much – he probably enjoys all the things he can play on (like you boys do!).

    Big Hugs and pawkisses, Teddy

We think it is adorable that Grandpaw doesn’t even know when he’s wrapped around a paw or 2. Or 8!

    Love and licks,

Made the mistake of reading the front page of today’s newspaper; it’s just too hard to keep one’s emotional equilibrium with the constant barrage of awful news.

This is why reading with a cat in one’s lap is the bestest thing in the world!
