We finally had some Sun
last week…
so Granny and Grandpaw
bought some beautiful plants…
to bring some color
to this empty space…
so now I’m waiting till they come back…
with the plants…
I guess they’re back…
so Peachy
you have to take over…
and make room
for the colorful plants…
…that we already have shown you
last week…
but not what has happened to them…
look how beautiful effurrything is now…
we only have to clean the pots…
with some water…
so it will all be spic and span…
here on this err…stage…
we only hope
that it won’t get raining again…
better prepurr myself
for another sunshiny day tomorrow…

it all looks clean to me…
besides…
I really have no time…
I have to take care
of my mousies…
that walk around here
…with this warmer weather…
you could help me with that

but not Granny please…
she saves takes away effurry mousie
that I catch…
and some survive…

and the one
that I left in Grandpaw’s slipper
didn’t make it either…
but I’m not a Pawty Pooper
like Granny…
so I take care of the plants now…
until the Sun goes down…
and I make sure
that no mousie slips through my paws…
let me tell you
where we’re
T H A N K F U L
for now…
all the beautiful plants…
with their beautiful colors…
and amazing looks…
and our own
…Forget-Me-Nots…
and Sedum…
and for the beautiful weather…
we HAD…
…before the rain set in…
…OMC…
you won’t believe what has happened
to the plants after this
intensity of rainfall…

and the garden creatures
…helped too…
🐌🐛🐜
and so I have to watch the flowers
very closely…
before another creature
gets the idea
to do it again…

to see mowing as a play
and no-one can take that feeling away
but if you think you can do better

besides I have done enough for today
and don’t want to end up
like that swan anyway.”

so when one has fun with
mowing the lawn
I sure have fun with my mousies😹
Please could you send some POTP to our grandpaw…
he has a bad knee injurie
after hitting his knee pretty hard…
so hard that the knee capsule is torned…
tomorrow he hears the results of the x-ray
and ultrasound…
We take good care of him so far
but we know it heals up better
with a little help of our furriends

Beautiful new plants boys – rain can beat them down but when Mr. Sun comes back out they stand up tall again…..we had the same thing happen here! Nice of you to keep the mousie population under control though. We send POTP to Grandpaw for his knee injury and we sure hope he won’t need surgery…..but if he does, you boys can take super good care of him right? You are helpful to the garden AND your Grandpaw and Granny ALWAYS. We also think you are EXCELLENT poets – your poem for this week was funny and FUN!

Peachy and Stippie you are such sweet boys and on mouse patrol so fervently. Yes, rain destroys flowers. We had heave rain today and also for tomorrow 85% with thunderstorms… Not ideal for Pieter’s Memorial Service!
But it is what it is.

Mom and I said a prayer for Grandpaw for his poorly knee to be an easy fix, or better yet – to fix itself. We will say prayers for him each morning at our prayer time till he is all better. He is in good hands and paws for now. The garden is beautiful, in spite of the destructive rain. Also, it’s kind of lucky that the slipper-mousie didn’t make it. Otherwise Grandpaw would have mousie bites on his toes to go along with his knee boo-boo.

Oh, mama is so so sorry for the knee problem!! She has had liquid in her knee area four or five times and used SYNVISK so if your granpapa has that, ever, it’s magic. We hope so much that the pictures are not too serious.
