Thankful Thursday

Hi (Furry)furriends💗

Peachy

the rain has stopped now…

so let’s see

what’s going on in the garden…

okay…

then I’m in for a round…

look here…

Granny has to take away

the Borage…

it’s filled with lice…

AND therefore with ants…🙈

…really…

let’s see it for myself…

looks like it rained slugs again too…

looks like these spreaded Borage

have not been affected yet…

but I don’t know if they’ll bloom

in this late September

…anymore…

just like the tomatoes

over there…

they’re still standing…

with little yellow flowers…

but we don’t think

that they will sprout out

into tomatoes…

…anymore either…

but there are a few new flowers coming…

on the fully bloomed Clematis…

and the other one too…

they still want to show themselves…

…see…

so maybe we’re lucky…

nothing is as unpredictable

as the weather…

but we’re very

T H A N K F U L

for all the flowers that we still have…

the Fuchsia puppets

are still dangling in there…

and the Geraniums are still

in bloom…

and the Marjoram/Oregano hasn’t been

so big as this year…

it’s Granny’s favourite herb

so it sees almost effurry meal…😸

and we have almost effurry day ricola…

and one leaf of salad…😸

and we hat a bountyful harvest…

…two beets…🎉

how does it get any better than that🙈

and we’re

T H A N K F U L

for

Angel Binky’s favourite rose…

who changed within three days

into this beauty…

and here’s another coming out

too…

and now it’s time

for our poem for our furriends

Angel Sammy and Teddy…

“When there’s something

that I don’t like

I put on a face

and go on strike

I just asked for my bottle

that is all I need

and not your flavoured flowers

or that disgusting seaweed

so when you give me now

my favorite food

I purromise that I will be soon

in a much better mood.”

😺📚Have a Happy Thursday my furriends📚😸

Your garden is so lush compared to ours. And that rose is just spectacular!

Boys, besides Binky’s beautiful rose, which made mom and me smile…we laughed at the bountiful harvest of 2 beets. My mom said she has had similar fortune with carrots!

Your garden still looks lovely even though some things are not doing so well . The slugs demolished our verbena and antirrhinums this year, and the wet cold spring and summer meant our later ripening tomatoes had tough skins. They were okay for making soup though. Angel Binky’s rose looks lovely. Your poem is great too.

We do enjoy every bloom in our garden too. The tomatoes won’t come anymore, it is too cold here. I am still waiting for my leek to grow stronger. It looks like baby leek at the moment. You have still a lovely garden to roam in. Enjoy in between the showers. Big hugs xxx

I love the poem and the trip through your beautiful garden. Yes, some things don’t grow right or bloom when you want, but you still have so many pretty things.

What a great tour! And two beets! Those are two more than mama grew last season. This year mama is planting chioggia beets that have red and white bullseyes when cut, very pretty! Love your tours.

Your garden gives and gives! Beauty and bounty. Well, the bounty of one salad leaf and 2 beets. Bounty, nonetheless…

    Love and licks,

Hi boys! What a nice trip through the garden you gave us! Looks like some things are doing well and some maybe not. That’s the way it is here this time of year too. The bad storm “Helene” is coming up the East Coast after it finishes with Florida and even though we are far away, already we have effects – lots and lots of rain for another four days! We will be SOGGY! Anyway, we love your poem for the baby who is not happy with lunch. Sometimes I feel that way but I’ve never made a face like that! HAHA

    Pawkisses and love, Teddy
