let’s do a little resume of yesterday…
yes we can do that, Peachy…
we were inside the house
the whole day…
except of the very early morning…
but when they started to throw
the firecrackers…
we had to make ourselves comfortable…
in the house…
and in the evening
I was watching the whole show…
while Peachy was still sleeping
on the other side
of the room…
when Granny got up to close all the curtains
in case we were afraid of the lights…
I went upstairs with her
and watched the show go on…
but when Peachy also came upstairs…
I went down with him…
and listened to the sound of the firecrackers…
which increased
as the evening progressed…
I still wasn’t afraid of the sound…
in fact
I was more afraid of the lady in red our twofeet auntie
than of the firecrackers…🙈
in the meantime
Peachy woke up
and asked me to sit with him…
on top of our scratching post…
and together
we listened to the mewsic…
and waited for the countdown…
and then the time had come…
at exactly 12 o’clock
Peachy turned his head
to look outside…
…he didn’t think twice
turned around and ran upstairs
as fast as a whirlwind…
so I had time to watch the decorative fireworks
a little bit longer
before I followed his example…
Granny says we were very brave…
…and she was so purroud of us…
and when they all got to bed
when the worst noise was over…
…half an hour later…
Granny found us under the bed…
where we continued to sleep
through the night…
before we woke up in a New Year
in which we can make new adventures
and in which we can make effurry day a little special
and in which we can create miracles
365 days long
…again and again…
and that’s also our wish
for all of you

First of all – HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY! We had a quiet New Year because it was raining so all the fireworks we usually have and the noise was NOT THERE! We hope that means the whole year will be quiet. You guys were brave to watch some of the fireworks but under the bed is the best place to get away from all of the noise for sure. Here’s to a new year of adventures for all of us!

What a brave kitty you are, you darling other half of the two of you. You would NOT have liked our noise…it went on for 27 miniutes and got louder and louder but mama and papa stayed home to protect their ears!!! The sound was nice but oh, so long….
