I can’t find you…

come out of your hiding place…
so you can watch me playing
so we can play
with the new ribbon…

dragging my prey…
around the house…
for now it’s still mine…
just a last bitey

until you paw over
the ribbon …

so you have to wait
just a little bit longer…
can’t wait so long…
better paw over now…

of Granny…
I wonder where it leads us from here…
so I can ask her
to play with us…
“Oh no
she has no time
she’s with her furriends
and they’re drinking wine
and having some serious fun
you know that kind
that they have to run after
to get rid of their water
which can happen also
while they’re laughter
but even if
they’re old and grey
no-one can take
their furriendship away.”

Ribbons are something that I love too! But lately I have had a string to chase and fight with. I love that thing! It is attached to a stick and it’s not played with unless Mom is there to make sure I just lay a bitey on it and not get it in started into my mouth.

Guys! Know what? Ribbons are one of my FAVORITE toys. I have a collection of them – also ropes or cords! Looks like you had some fun. Know what else? That poem for today is absolutely hilarious.
