Thankful Thursday

Hi (Furry)furriends😻

…YooHoo…

I’m here under Olive…

just keeping an eye

on Apple…

to see if the nematodes work…

and help the ants moving out…

…so far so good…

if you ask me💪

…come…

I show you who’s helping us too…

…see that little white spider

on the left side leaf…

his name is Misumena

the Crap…eh…Crab Spider…

he was helping us to catch the ants…

…that made a nest inside of the tree-pot…

when they didn’t had a water bowl under it

…yet…

we did that with all the pots…

so now that no one swims

to Alcatraz

the trees and plants are finally free

from any disturbtions

of the invasion of the ants…

…see that big Peary on the right side…

she was saved last year

from the invasion…

and started to bloom again

this year…

that white crab-spider liked her too

…by the way…😸

and now look here

how hard the plants grow

again..

this is one of the two Butterfly Bushes…

and there’s the lavender…

and a Dandelion

which I almost stepped on…

and of course the

Forget-me-nots…

…how could we effurr…😸

and now look at her

…she shines towards us

from afar…

…and now look behind the working hands…

in the shape of a heart…

that’s one of our two bushes of

catnip…🐱

…and look what we got from our

twofeet auntie…

…who stayed with us

the entire Easter weekend…

…she also gave us the flames…

that we put first in Apple

to charge…

before we put them in the ground…

and because all of the light

we were allowed to stay in the garden

until 10 PM…

…SAY WHAT?!…

…the laturr the better

Stippie…

…MOL…

absolutely😹

so today

we’re very

T H A N K F U L

…for all the beautiful gifts…

and the weather

which was unexpectedly

…very nice…

…until yesterday…

…and for the garden helpers…

…the new birdies

who are singing very beautiful

and very loud…

as they give a special perfurrmance

for nature and us…

we really have a lot to be

T H A N K F U L

for

…but talking about nature…

that reminds us to do our poem

for our furriends

🩷Angel Sammy and Teddy🩷

on this picture…

“I take my work

effurrywhere with me

it doesn’t matter

if anyone can see

that I’m sitting in the grass

barefootly

with the sun up high

under the bluest sky

and a temperature that rise

and makes me feel so very wise

that I want to stay outside furrever

when it’s this kind of weather

I think that makes me very clever

and if you don’t agree

try it once

and put your chair

next to me.”

🌸🌸🌸

😸Have a Happy Thursday my furriends😸

Terrific poetry! Your garden is so lovely and we are happy to learn that the new strategies to entice the ants to move away are working. Well done. Have a pawsome weekend.

Great you found some remedies regarding the ants. I have put my Hostas in a water tray as the snails always eat them…. so let s see if they can swim. 🙂 Love your forget me nots and everything else. Well I love your garden very much. ♥♥♥ Gardens are just heaven ♥

Wow, your garden is ever so beautiful! And hopefully all the natural remedies will chase away and keep away the naughty bugs and ants.

    Loved your poem, too!

The poem was perfect after sharing your gorgeous garden with us. We are all so jealous that you were able to remain outside until 10 p.m. Even though we have a catio and would like to stay out late, we never get to stay much past 8 p.m. Have a wonderful weekend. When I worked outside the home, I loved being outdoors on lunch break whenever possible. It really broke the humdrum of office life and energy restorer for the rest of the day. Cute poem!

First of all your backyard looks AMAZING…..everything is so beautiful and blooming and happy including The Stippie Plant and the Peachy Plant! The ants and nematodes and water dishes under the pots seem to have all the BAD critters in check. Perfect! As for the poem – we think if the weather was nice and the bugs took a vacation somewhere else we could move Mom’s desk outside and get more fresh air (or we could open the window in her room!!!). Beautiful job on the poem everyone – can’t wait to see what you write for NEXT WEEK!

Love and Huggies, Teddy and Mom Pam
