Hi (Furry)furriends🌸

Granny
the weather is really horrible…
it’s raining cats and dogs again…

and we love that you bring us
some Spring flowers
in Winter…
here’s the potting soil

for all the primroses…

…they look amazing…
it’s great you brought some color
to our wet garden
Granny…

I think I can smell them
too…

they don’t smell Faye…

the smell is coming
from the corner of the garden…

you’re right Peachy…

…of course I am…

and I can tell you too
what that smell is…

and why you need a guard
again…

…also for that corner…

but I like to be guard
by Granny…

at least she’s out in the garden
for a long time
to keep an eye on you…

so now you have four eyes
watching you…

I didn’t do anything wrong…
I just thought the garden
was my litter box
in Winter🙈

we wished it was just mud
Faye…💩
then we could have played in it…
talking about mud…
we have to do a poem for
our furriends Angel Sammy and Teddy
on this picture…

“Look who’s having
a lot of fun
in the garden
when the rain is gone
the doggie and the little man
playing catch me if you can
and sliding now and then
and what no one has forseen
the little man just found his dream
he wants to be a great mud fighter
but without a dipurr
and with his doggie by his side
they could become champions
worldwide.”

We’re
T H A N K F U L
for the Primroses
so they can bring a little color
…to the garden…

…yeah…
and that the temperatures are rising…
so that Granny can stay in the garden
for a longer time with us…

…she’s right behind you Faye…
until you learn
to go on the litter box in the house again…
and not just once😹

and we’re
T H A N K F U L
for all of you
dear furriends…
followers and passers by
…even without being around
as much as we wished lately
…because Granny’s on guard now…
she says she doesn’t want to keep little Faye
in the house the whole day
…until she uses the litter box…
we just start at the beginning again
when she was a kitten…
and this big kitten😹
is learning fast
so we know this is just
a temporary thing…

…and besides…
we know
that she doesn’t want to miss anything
of what happens outside…
so she makes it easier on herself…MOL
…well..
at least I have manners
…MOL…
😸Have a Happy Thursday my furriends😸
🙏Stay Safe Healthy and Yourselfie🙏

Such pretty posies, guys. We had a bit of snow last night, so it’ll be a bit before we can start thinking of spring. Try to stay dry.

Well, that is one cute ‘sniffer’….and litter boxes are something to learn. Maybe put a little one outdoors and indoors.
Jan 17, 2026 @ 14:53:39
I love your poem, and all of the photos. That’s a beautiful touch of spring in your garden. Hugs! 😻

I do like your poem!
It’s not easy for a kitten to know the great outdoors isn’t the best place to “go.”

Beautiful blooms. How sweet of you to guard them. Great job on the poem. XO
Jan 17, 2026 @ 00:53:27
It was just a mistake, Faye.

Flowers in the winter are wonderful. Faye, I’m sure you’re trying to be good. Sometimes, it’s hard.
Jan 16, 2026 @ 19:59:28
We love seeing those spring flowers while we’re waiting for spring (and waiting for more snow tomorrow). Faye, we’re pulling for you to learn (re-learn) how to use the indoor litterbox. When I first came to live here, I had the opposite problem – learning to use outside NOT the bathroom rug inside… Yikes.
Sloppy kisses,
Delilah

Jan 16, 2026 @ 17:18:35
You two are always so cute and you sure enjoy your garden time out there. Those are good thankfuls too and thanks for joining Angel Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!

It is nice to be a bit warmer and a smell of Spring in the air. Your primroses are lovely, we need colour. I found the first snowdrop today! Everyday gets us closer to Spring! Yay ♥
Jan 16, 2026 @ 16:26:25
Excellent story poem!
Faye, we understand, we really do, but you need to be inside at the litter box to go poo.

Java Bean: “Ayyy, our Dada says it was raining cats and dogs here for a couple of weeks, but I don’t remember seeing any new dogs in the yard so I think he is just telling porky pies. Too bad, some new playmates would have been fun.”
Jan 16, 2026 @ 14:09:54
Your colorful flowers make us happy today. Light snow on the ground so no flowers outside of course. Lynn had a blue African violet that has one single blossom on it. It makes her hopeful for more until Summer gets here.

Beautiful flowers, and a fun poem. Eric and Flynn preferred the greenhouse to the litter boxes. I didn’t mind though and scooped it every day. Their favourite places were when we went for walks in the fields.

i love this smile in front of the flower pot… and yes spring makes everything a little better
Jan 16, 2026 @ 12:00:17
Looks like a touch of Spring has come to your garden! We expect some snow tomorrow and today only 21 degrees outside….BRRRRR! Teddy does NOT go outside when its’ cold (even though he has lots of padding on his big body). Teddy lived outside before he was adopted by us and was used to using the woods/leaves as his “litter box” and still does that once in a while now if he’s outside. Mostly though he’s become an inside boy – loving comfy chairs and rugs AND using his litter box(es) in the house. We send WARM hugs to you from COLD Virginia!
Love, Pam and Teddy too
