we have had a couple close encounters with herons, We feel that they carry a sign from our humans who have passed over. Also, big as they are they are unlikely to grab up a kitty — their feet are made for standing in the shallows and spearing prey with their sharp beak.

Mommy had an “accident” with a heron one day when she lived in Florida near the ocean. He had to use the bird bathroom but couldn’t make it and let loose on mom’s car. The “fragrance” was outrageous. Awful. Terrible. She stopped at a gas station which allowed the use of their water hose to rinse the car. WHEW!

WOW! So high up in the tree you’re closer to those birds and the sky that’s for sure Faye. The sky is beautiful and if you look at the clouds you can imagine all kinds of shapes in the clouds…..animals, flowers, all kinds of things! Your yard looks like it will be extra fun to play in this Spring too. ENJOY…..
