we have to make a poem
for our furriends
Angel Sammy and Teddy
of our bush
on this picture…
“What would you say
when we run away
for only one second
of the day
with our bush
on our side
so we can hide
and not being recognized
on bare feet
in our street
and because
you can’t see no paws
with claws
we both can imagine it well
but no-one else can tell.”

and this baby mason bee is

that he was saved from Faye’s claws😼
Granny works full-time
in the garden
to teach Little Faye
that she better not eat them…
instead she eats the big flies🙈
…Yikes…
and the Redstarts are back
and singing and talking
effurry day for us…
the other day one was
flying in front of the window
to get Granny’s attention…
and when Granny finally saw him
he showed her that he wasn’t alone…
his other half was waiting for him
on our fence…
she’s still smiling how special this was…
*whispurrs*
and she feels very special too
with all these messages
of this special birdie🧙🏼
the magpies are back too…
so we’re having a lot of conversations
with all the flying objects…😹

I’m going to get me some tan now
it’s almost time for dinner…
and when Granny doesn’t block
the Sun anymore
I can have the last beams…🌞

I love to hear the birds singing too. I don’t like magpies though. We have lots of nests in our tall hedge with sparrows, wrens, robins and blackbirds. They are now feeding their young, but a pair of magpies are in the garden all the time trying to attack the nests. I have to keep shooing them away.

My advice is to always think carefully before eating a flying critter. Especially if Granny isn’t right there to stage a rescue!

You two look so VERY adorable together in the shady spot watching the world go by. We really did love your poem – that photo was taken in Utrecht and we bet those two “bushes” had sore feet before the day was over! Love your photos too – especially the tiny bee!!!!!
