Hi (Furry)furriends😻

…Granny…
I think I deserve a break
after helping you with
hanging the curtains…

…and besides…
Faye may not find me
because I never lie down here…

…oh no…
there she comes…
…say goodbye to my break…

there you are Peachy…
I couldn’t find you…

come let me give you
a smoochie…

and a bitey…

it took some time to find you
so I have to do an extra bitey…

thank you for that Faye…
but here’s a bitey…

and a licky…
right back at ya…

we’re furriends now
but you have to leave me alone…

so I can continue
my well deserved break…

in the meantime…

you can tell our furriends
where we all
T H A N K F U L
for…

…I can do that Peachy…
I’ll leave you alone
so you can have a little you-time…

but I’ll be back
…soon…😹

we’re so happy
that the columbines

came back
they’re standing under Apple…

and show their beauty
in all different colors…

and Apple is feeling a lot better too
since Granny added Nematodes
against the ants attack
last year…
but she’s not strong enough
to make apples this year…
…so she has regain her strength first…

we believe our Litte Apple
will carry a lot of apples
for her instead🌸🍏
(p.s. we had to color some details
for our purrivacy 😉

and I have the bestest view
from up here…
…COOL huh🐱

and we’re so
T H A N K F U L
that the Blackbirdies
are back…

there’s the mamma…

and here’s baby Blackbird…
they stayed around the house
in the morning
and evening
and we had a great chatter
with both of them😻
don’t worry
the Pawty Pooper was with us
the whole time…
so the birdies were safe…

usually they fly away
when Granny comes…
but Granny was chattering with them too
and they whistled back…
not the little one
she was still practicing on her vocabulaire💗

we also found the one
who ate our leaves of the mint plant…
…can you see the Dragonfly…
and when Grandpaw sat in the garden
he was joined by a Salamander…
he had to pick him up real fast
and brought him to the front garden…

…that really sucked….
…for us…

I think we have a lot to be
T H A N K F U L
for…
we also got a sign
from our beloved bro Stippie…
…and this was a very special one
again…
Granny wanted to write in her journal
and when she opened it
it seemed to be her old journal
where she had put in two links…
and because she didn’t remember
what they were
she opened the second link
that lead her to a meditation of a few years ago…
and because she responds
to where the flow goes 😉
she did the meditation
instead of the journal…
somewhere in the middle of the meditation
Angel Stippie popped into her mind
and she wished she could see him…
it was just a thought that she had to let go
…like clouds in the sky…
…she was taught to do that a long time ago…;)
but what happened next
was the song that accompanied the meditation…
it was an Indian chant
…one that she didn’t know…
so first she only heard the mewsic
and the Indian words
and then in the end
she heard these words:
♪♫♪ You can let go
I am always with you
I am closer to you
than your heartbeat ♪♫♪
You are Safe – Vanessa Forbes (2013)

with a big smile on her face
and tears rolling down her cheeks…
she knew that Stippie was talking to her
in another special way💞

…what a beautiful sign Granny…
…I’m really tired now…
…wait…
that reminds me
that we have to do a poem
for our furriends
Angel Sammy and Teddy
on this picture…

“Now
look at these folks here
they are not used to anything
in this final year
I am the only one
who is still awake
even if it’s very late
I think it’s boring
the whole classroom is snoring
even the teacher has gone away
to dreamland
because no-one listened
to anything he had to say
so I’m asking myself
why do I have to stay
for another day
I think I better walk away
because I’m done for today
and besides
there’s always tomorrow
for new chances
and well-rested faces
to brighten my day.”

We love the songs of the blackbirds, called merles in France. Love that you kitties are friends now…are those bities serious or just friendly nips?
May 02, 2026 @ 14:41:17
Glorious columbines!
Ours are just greening leaves right now; soon, though.
Faye looks so cute up in the branches, and Peachy so peaceful as you lay about.
May 02, 2026 @ 08:50:08
I have a lot of ‘wild’ columbines, and they are pretty too, not ready just yet, though! Yours are beautiful!
Fun poetry also! Wow, Faye, you sure are up high in that apple tree!
Peachy, we don’t blame you for needing ‘me time’!
May 02, 2026 @ 03:29:51
Great job with the poetry. Those columbines are gorgeous!
May 02, 2026 @ 01:24:45
That was the sweetest smooch you two shared!

May 02, 2026 @ 00:23:31
You two are so cute with the bitey kissy things and you look adorable up in the tree sweet Faye. That was quite the message from Angel Stippie and a wonderful thankful. A fun poem too. Thanks for joining Angel Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
May 01, 2026 @ 22:51:18
You kids do have a lot to be thankful for in your garden. And we are ALL thankful to visit your garden with you.
Sloppy kisses,

What a GREAT post! All kinds of things to enjoy – photos of the garden, and all the pretty things in it (including two cute kitties!) and great nap spots and trees to climb…..wow…..the best thing was the “message” Granny got from Angel Stippie – those messages are from one heart to another and we can FEEL and HEAR them if we pay attention. We also enjoyed your poem for the room full of BORED people. Mom remembers many lectures just like that – she’s glad she didn’t snore!!!
Big Hugs, Teddy (and Mom)

Peachy, you have the most fun shelf to lie on with all the ceramic decorations. And Faye, up an apple tree! Ours did not bloom well the terrible un-Spring Spring so maybe the deer won’t eat as well as last year. Great poet in the family.
