Hi (Furry)furriends😻
…Summer is ON…
and the temperatures are rising…
just like effurry year…
we call this
one of our best Summers
in our Country…
we can see it on our posts that we made
over the last 15 years…
and Wordpurres sends us updates
so we can see directly
what we’ve written on the same days
the last 15 years…
we just want to make that clear
because the stoopid weather channels
want to make it extremely worse than it is…
…which it isn’t…
…for us it’s normal…
if we like it
is another question…😸
Granny likes it
and in fact she’s the only one…
…besides Auntie Angel Binky
who loved it too
she always was outside with Granny
even when the temperature was higher than now
in the garden…
Granny puts up the swimming pool
effurry year…
to make sure that we stay COOL…
but we have to go inside
when the sun begins to shine
in our backyard…
even if we want to stay outside…
but Granny can see…
that Little Faye and me
can’t stand the heat…
then she closes all the curtains
and turns on the fans…
I’m already used to them
so they don’t scare me anymore…
but Little Faye
thinks that they’re monsters…
who want to take her away…
so she hides behind the tv…
but I told her
that they can’t fly away with her…
because we always keep an eye or four
on her…
so now she finds herself
a place…
far enough to feel safe…
and close enough
to Granny and Grandpaw…
when she wants to
COOL down…
and then we take a loooong sleep
until we’re allowed to go out
again….
…sometime in the evening…
so we’re very
T H A N K F U L
for the fans
in the house
to keep us COOL…
…yes…
and you all too fans 😉
…MOL…
…hey Faye…
we also have to create a poem

you can have it all
a place to sit
and a seat to sleep
one where you also can eat
but when you’re big
you have to weep
not only because you can’t sleep
but also because the seat
costs a lot more
than when you were as petite
as that creep😹

I hope your heat wave ends soon. I am not a fan of the heat, and we use our A/C when it gets too hot. Stay safe and hydrated. 😽💧

Mom had a good giggle at your poem. We loved all your photos today. At least you are getting some time outside when it isn’t super hot. Our mom HATES hot weather, but we don’t mind at all and spend most of the day on the catio. It does have two overhead fans. You are right, I remember 37 degrees in Germany when I visited my mum and that must have been about 10 years ago. I think people are getting sillier 10 years ago we dealt with it responsibly. The sun is hot but in the shade with a breeze it is ok, having hte feet in a cold waterbowl :-). I love the warmth, saves going to Spain. hehe.
You lovelies keep cool, Granny is doing everything she can to keep you cool, just rest, don’t do much. The fans are very helpful for you, Faye will love it eventually too!

Well you cuties did it again!!! A PURRFECT poem for the poetry challenge this week. I think Angel Sammy will have a big smile on his face for that one….Teddy and I think that that pool of yours is very nice! Teddy would try to lie down in it but I doubt he would fit. He doesn’t mind the hot weather – he just lies under a bush or stays on the front porch in the shade. Sooner or later he wants inside for a breath of air conditioned air though! Sending you COOL huggies!!!!

It is good news that the heat is not as bad as our TV reports say it is. I have no doubt that Granny knows how to keep you kids safe and cool. Your pool looks like a LOT of fun! I certainly understand a little fear of the fan. This morning, I was afraid of Mom pulling off a piece of scotch tape from the roll. #bettersafethansorry

Tee, hee…great job with this week’s poem. I’m with you guys on the heat…your Granny can have all of ours. We prefer more moderate temps since it’s seems so much more hot at high altitude. Stay comfy and enjoy being outside when you can. 😻

Kids…when it was extremely hot and humid here in my house AND outside…we had large box fans blowing full force. Three days and nights. I hated it and did not sleep with Mommy. TOO noisy and blowy!
