Hi (Furry)furriends😻

Peachy
do you hear that…

someone’s meowing…

…yes…
I can hear that
Faye…

it must come from
somewhere up there…

I thought so too…

maybe I can see something
when I climb up here…

now I can see something…

I can’t see anything
yet…

tell me what do you see
Faye…

wait a minute…
I have to get higher for that…

it’s a Buzzard…

can you see him
now…

no
still not…

also not from this side…

now I can see them…

it’s two of them…
but it sounds like more…

and it is more…
it’s a whole family…

I can see the mom and dad
and their baby…
they’re all dots on the picture…MOL

that is so entertaining…
as they flew over our cookoo’s nest house
for a long time…

until we saw their baby…
they’re so purroud of their
Little birdie…

and we’re so
T H A N K F U L
that they came to show us
their little Buzzard child…

and we saw so much more
where we could focus on…

like these two Butterflies…
what?
of course no one can see
that they are Butterflies…
Granny and her camera🙈
but here’s a video
so you can take
a three minutes rest…
because there’s a lot more
to come…

we have the Bumble Bee
hanging around
in the Butterfly Bush…
and a Hummingbird moth too…
…she was too fast for a photo btw…

and a Butterfly is just sitting there
for no reason…

and we’re very
T H A N K F U L
that the Petunias
still blooming…

they were at their end
but Granny tried to give them
another round…
and here they are in
full glory…
…well…
actually not so full anymore…

and we found Baby Blackbird’s feather…
they always come in our garden
when we’re not around…
…don’t asked me why…

and we have a new Sage…
with beautiful blue flowers…
we had no idea that there were
so many different kinds
of them…

and we have a beautiful Rose
with a hole inside😹
she’s still a beauty
isn’t she…

and look what Grandpaw
finally did…
he cleaned the stones…
…yeah yeah yeah…
now they got their colors back
…the only color in the garden…
because most of the colors
are gone now…
effurrything is too dry
because the only rain we had
…was three drops in a row…🙈
and most of the plants
don’t know
if they want to come back…

Angel Stippie’s plant
was so beautiful
…as you can see here…

but she looks so poor now
that we try to replant her
and put another plant for Angel Stippie
instead…
and look at the straw…
…once it was called grass…

effurrything looks poor now
in the garden…
but there’s hope…
when Summer is over
it all will look better…MOL…
Granny got a beautiful sign
from heaven too
where she’s very
T H A N K F U L
for…
there was a Falcon flying towards her
when she was driving her car…
and Granny was really worried
that he would crash
into the window…
but he went over the car
at the last minute…
he must have had an Angel
by his side…
and Granny was relieved
that nothing bad happened
to that beautiful creature…
and she also knew that this was a sign
that she had to look into…
because they have never flown
towards her…

…she always sees them…
why they neffurr come to visit us…
I would love to stand eye-to-eye
with a Falcon too…

maybe we can move
to the woods Peachy…
I’m sure we’ll find
a lot of Falcons there…
and other wild life too…🐦

…you name it Faye…
talking about woods…
that reminds me
that we have to do a poem
for our furriends
Angel Sammy and his brother Teddy
on this picture…

“Somewhere
in the middle of the wood
stands a house
where you can feel good
it’s very quiet out there
with lots of furresh air
where birdies singing
your worries away
effurry day
and you can sit
next to the creek
or go fishing
and fall asleep
and when you’re awake
you can take
a refurreshing dive
in the water
to come alive
and you don’t have to be afraid
when it’s getting late
and dark outside
because in the night you’ll see
who is protecting
you and me.”

Wonderful to see so many birds and insects.
I have plants going as well and I think it is the heat. I just replanted an Hydrangea in a pot again, maybe it will recover.
We have no rain and it is just so hot, with a big garden it is hard to keep everything up.

That falcon was wise to zip over the casr at the last second!
NIcely cleaned up cobblestones in the patioi!
Buzzards? They meow?? OMC! Good thing they didn’t come too close to show off their little one…though I think they mostly prefer carrion….(Bah!)
Those butterflies were doing a long courtship, MOL!
I loved your poem! And I too would enjoy a little hideaway like that!

Grandpa did a great job of cleaning the bricks, and you cuties have so much entertainment from butterflies to buzzards. Hugs! 😽

Mom saw 4 buzzards in the picture, which was so exciting, until she realized that the second baby was a tiny spot of dirt on her screen. LOL. Still exciting, tho. Great nature pictures!
Sloppy kisses,
Delilah

Charlee: “Meows from the sky, what a mystery! Glad it was solved!”Chaplin: “That’s quite a butterfly with its orange and black ― our Dada approves, and so do we!”

Jul 24, 2026 @ 08:07:59

Jul 24, 2026 @ 06:41:11
That’s a great poem, guys. And such wonderful views of the garden, too!
Jul 24, 2026 @ 04:33:36
It’s amazing to watch the birds fly, and watch the babies growup.
Jul 24, 2026 @ 03:04:57
My sweet kitties!! I love it when you show us all of the things you see right where you are in the yard. Please let us know what new offering Angel Stippie will have in his garden. I love all of the angels. Please tell Granny that my mom will look up the appearance of the Falcon. She has become interested.
Jul 24, 2026 @ 03:00:13
Grandpaw did a great job cleaning the bricks. They look like new. You two are lucky you have so much to see when you are outside. XO
Jul 24, 2026 @ 02:08:38
Well we think even though the garden looks thirsty, it is still beautiful – everything is waiting for a good drink from Heaven and it will come. Mother Nature is busy with other things but she will soon catch all of us up in the “water” department – we are very very dry too but as soon as rain comes – the flowers will bloom again. Meanwhile the little patio looks nice and clean thanks to Grandpaw and the birds, bees and butterflies are still visiting. Sending all of you hugs and we ALL are hoping for some rain soon.
Love, Pam and Teddy too

I enjoyed your post sweeties but I hope those big birds don’t come and visit you, they would carry you away. Fun photo too! Thanks for joining Angel Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
