Hi (Furry)furriends😸

Last week

we had an impawtant project

…almost effurry day…

don’t worry

I won’t put them all in one postie😹

but start with this longest one…

see how my flying saucer now looks like…

since Little Faye made big holes

inside of it…

so she could stick her paw in it

and grab me…

so it was about time

to change the fabric…

and Granny and Grandpaw

went to the market place

to buy a good sturdy fabric…

that we had to test first…

we jumped on it…

scratched it…

to proove that it was

sturdy enough…

for our nails

and Faye’s biteys…

and when we were ready

with testing…

we scratched one more time

to let our scent in it…

and then Grandpaw took off

the old fur fabric…

and we waited patiently

until Granny was ready with

the needles and pins…

and after that

we were allowed to lie down

and try it out…

Little Faye loved it already…

while I still had my reservations…

but I kept effurrything

under control…

and when the spaceship was ready

Faye looked

if it could land directly

on top of our tree…

and then the roof was ready…

to live on…

of course Faye was the first

who tried it out…

Granny told her

that it would adapt quickly…

like the original fabric

that almost felt like a hammock…

but I have to get used to it…

and a bit of encouragement

hasn’t helped yet…

after five days

I finally dared to take the step

but only for the pictures…

and now I only sleep in the chair…

because that feels so familiar…

Little Faye keeps me company

a lot sometimes…

and encourage me

to get up there…

but I still don’t feel comfortable

enough…

and get down

instead up…

and ask Granny

if they please can give me back

the old familiar roof…

Granny says

that it will take a little longer

before I get used to the new roof…

until then

I keep hanging in…

for little Faye it’s all good…

old fabric…new fabric…

she adapts to effurrything…

in fact

she doesn’t care at all…MOL…

so today we’re Faye’s very

T H A N K F U L

that we have a new roof

for our cat tree…

and Granny and Grandpaw are

T H A N K F U L

that we both helped them

to make the fabric our own…😹

talking about our own…

that reminds us

that we have to make a poem

for our furriends

a ride through the grass

I neffurr said

you would be driving first class

but at least we have

a lot of Spaβ.”
